Stunning contemporary furnished period farmhouse. 3 double & 1 single bedrooms, 2 shower rooms & 1 bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen/dining room. Beautiful lounge with doors leading to outside eating area. All rooms having amazing views over countryside & vineyards. There are two patio areas and a terrace with a built in bar B-Q. There is parking in the garage for two cars and off road parking for a further two. The garden is well maintained with flowers, trees and shrubs. The house is on a quiet country lane with little traffic and accessed through high gates.

The North West Italy / Piedmont/Lake Maggiore region

The area has an abundance of castles and places of interest, with Turin and Milan within easy access. There are many restaurants ranging from local pizzerias to high end gastronomic establishments. Our recommendations with telephone numbers and directions are in our house book. The area is known for its famous wines of Barbera and Barolo plus many others, many local vineyards have tastings. The months of April, May and June are like English summer weather, August & September can be very hot. October is usually like May. Both the towns of Canelli and Nizza Monferrato have markets where you can buy all the local produce.
The lakes are a one hour drive away as are the mountains and sea.

Nizza Monferrato / Moasca area

The Medieval castle of Moasca has been recently restored and now houses a very good restaurant and bar. (It is on the opposite hill from the house and can be seen from the terrace). There are many local festivals and during the summer months you can always find something happening locally. There is the famous Canelli siege re-enactment every July once you have been you will want to return. The palio in Asti during September and much much more.

How to get there

Flights into Genova/Milan and Turin airports with British Airways/ Ryan Air and Easy Jet from UK.
The journey from the airports is approximately 1 hour 30minutes, travelling through beautiful countryside with views of the Alps in the distance.
There are many car hire companies at all three airports, Hertz being our company of choice.

All the rooms have wonderful views with the master bedroom having a triple view. All 3 bathrooms are modern and recently updated. Two rooms have access to a balcony. The outside eating area is covered with access from the lounge, however there is also dining area as part of the kitchen.
