Located forty minutes by sea plane north of Malé within the Noonu atoll, is the island of Randheli, the naturally beautiful and exceptional setting for Cheval Blanc. The Noonu atoll is without a doubt one of the most beautiful in the Maldives. It comprises of a handful of unspoiled green islands protected from the ocean by a large coral reef. The islands blend elongated palm trees, tropical flowers, white sand banks, pristine turquoise water and fringing reef. The atoll waters houses a dazzling sampling of multicolour fish, rays and sea turtles It is a preserved and exclusive exotic oasis.

Only a few minutes away from Randheli by boat, the wild island of Maakurandhoo shelters guttiferae and pandanus flowers and many other shrubs also known as sailor wood. A stroll on the islands' spotless beaches invariably summons up memories of Robinson Crusoe stories.

Cheval Blanc has been conceived in synergy with the island's natural surroundings, lush vegetation and lagoon views. Contemporary yet indigenous, graceful and understated, it is the perfect balance of modern architecture and traditional inspirations.

The stunning architecture is complemented by stylish interior design furnished with materials from the Indian Ocean and natural textures – rattan, bamboo, mother-of-pearl, coral or shagreen - enhanced by a vivid palette of colours with splashes of pop yellow and green.

Cheval Blanc has its own private Seaplane which has been specially designed.

The plane which is a Twin Otter of Havilland seaplane combines Cheval Blanc's signature taupe with Randheli's solar yellow, Prior to take off, a private lounge awaits guests to relax and freshen up before flying away to Randheli.

Aboard the plane, leather interiors and high technology equipment welcome passengers for a 40-minute panoramic voyage that will undoubtedly make a mark. The flight is made comfortable and restful with a cooling kit for each guest, which includes Cheval Blanc Randheli towels, amenities and bottles of 'Island Chic' scented water.

On arrival, guests step onto the wooden jetty sporting their new traditional espadrilles, courtesy of the Maison, and are warmly welcomed by the Resorts Ambassadeurs, who shuttle them to the privacy of their villa.

Cheval Blanc features an incredible selection of contemporary and modern art. Randheli's emblematic sculpture, welcomes visitors as a gate emerging from the waves.

Couronne, a work of art composed of 46 bright coloured spots also signed by Vincent Beaurin, explores within each villa the richness of a large chromatic spectre to convey both an inspiring and soothing feeling. Made of marble and quartz sand, each spot is unique and reveals a distinctive colour combination.

Cheval Blanc has an incredible selection of Restaurants for you to choose from.

The white is a contemporary brassiere providing gourmet cuisine from breakfast to dinner.

Open onto the ocean and a large garden on either side, this contemporary restaurant changes during the course of the day. You will find a terrace shaded by palm trees, air-conditioned alcoves facing the ocean, a table next to the garden overlooking a pond, options are endless: the venue and its dishes adapt to wishes.

Facing Cheval Blanc's main pool, the White Bar offers refreshing cocktails and light food all day long. The White Bar opens entirely onto the pool and offers a wide range of settings designed to enjoy a drink and savour light dishes. Outdoors, bench seats, fainting sofas and deck-chairs wait for guests to enjoy the sun and views over the lagoon. At sunset, a festive atmosphere gathers guests around the Chef Barman's delicious cocktails. Grand classics such as mojitos, caipirinha or caipiroskas are reinterpreted in a Maldivian fashion.

LE 1947

Le 1947 is Cheval Blanc's main fine dining restaurant named after the Château most prestigious and sought-after vintage. A vermilion shaded hallway leads to Le 1947 in all its refinement. Conceived as an exceptional culinary experience, it pays tribute to French cuisine, interpreted with delicacy and creativity.

In a refined décor opening onto a garden, the Chef engineers a play of flavours inspired by local and regional flavours, during which each course becomes an “invitation au voyage”.

The garden is an ideal venue for guests looking to prolong the pleasure or to take a pause during their fine tasting experience.

The Diptyque is a live-cooking theatre with a dual personality, serving the finest Japanese cuisine alongside Iberian gastronomy. The Diptyque combines both Japanese and Iberian cuisine through a unique performance each night. Guests are asked to choose their destination for a complete change of scenery.

The venue is split by a large dining counter with one side offering the finest tasting size products of Japanese cuisine and while the opposite counter features tapas-style Iberian delicacies. Prepared live in front of a limited number of guests, the Diptyque is a highly entertaining dining choice.

Located on the jetty, the Deelani is a lively restaurant offering local seafood and Italian specialties. The Deelani and its relaxed alfresco ambiance offer a selection of freshly caught fish and seafood as well as other Mediterranean inspired suggestions.

Grilled seafood and regional products await guests returning from a lagoon cruise or a diving session. In all simplicity, fish curries are served with vegetables tartar. At night, the Deelani transforms into an open-air late-night venue serving up festive cocktails.

The Carte Blanche in-villa menu fulfils the wishes of those who like to order what they please, when and where they please. Shaded by the latticework of the pergolas, the villas' terraces are perfectly equipped for Chefs to create bespoke culinary experiences.

Culinary journeys can be designed upon guests' wishes; an improvised beach picnic, a diner aboard a local dhoni - the choice of private dining venues is endless. No matter when and where, any seaside or island setting can be turned into an ephemeral table.

A stay at Cheval Blanc is a complete journey in renewal and well being. There is no better way to experience this then a visit to the Spa Island. Guerlain have created a range of treatments and massages specially adapted to the Maldives, exclusively for Cheval Blanc Randheli.

A dhoni disembarks guests on the shores of the Spa island where treatments can be discovered alone or together in one of the six villas overlooking the lagoon. Two prestige treatment villas for two – the Orchidée Villas – open onto the horizon offering a unique setting to experience a true moment of relaxation. Alongside treatments, guests can enjoy a traditional hammam bath or a yoga session in the dedicated pavilions as a prelude or interlude to their treatments. A Leonor Greyl hair spa, a make-up studio and an authentic barbershop complete the beauty halt.

The island of Randheli offers the perfect setting to discover or re-discover the unrivalled beauty of the Maldivian sea. Noonu Atoll, where turtles, manta rays and pinecone soldierfish swim, is an ideal playground for free diving and submarine excursions during both day and night. The 5-star PADI certified dive centre offers excursions adapted to all levels, from introduction to perfecting. A team of passionate divers escort guests in the discovery of the most beautiful spots.

A fleet of traditional wooden dhonis and excursion boats invites guests to sail the waters of the atoll.

Starting point of sea excursions, the marina houses a fleet of dhonis at disposal of guests to sail on the lagoon, as well as Cheval Blanc coloured speedboats and a yacht.

Big game fishing, dolphin encounters, sunset cruises, Noonu Atoll lends itself to every whim.

On the main island, the water sports centre also offers a wide range of equipment from water skiing to sliding onboard a catamaran, windsurfing and canoeing.

A fitness centre opening onto the horizon, two tennis courts, a golf simulator and high-end fitness equipment allow sport connoisseurs to train in a spectacular setting.

On the main island, the fitness centre with its lagoon view is equipped with the latest Techno gym machines. Bespoke programmes and customised coaching sessions can be organized on request.

A state-of-the-art golf simulator allows guests to play in the world's most beautiful golf courses. A selection of clubs for men, women and children is at guests' disposal.

Buried in the opulent vegetation of Maakurandhoo island, two tennis courts offer a unique opportunity to play by the ocean.

Specially conceived for children, Le Carrousel and Le Paddock open little ones and teenagers to new discoveries. For your younger children, Le Carrousel offers a range of cultural, playful and sports activities: children yoga, submarine pictures safari, treasure hunt and many other memorable experiences.

Outdoors, a pergola protects children from the sun allowing them to play as much as they please. A large water slide sitting on top of a special pool tops this universe dedicated to the pleasure of little ones.

For teenagers, Le Paddock offers an entirely dedicated space opening onto a garden: billiard, table football, table tennis, a multimedia station as well as many other experiences from a sub aquatic hike to observational astronomy sessions.
