The Cottage has its own private garden as well as the patio beside the sea,and with just six steps and a few metres separating it from a very quiet little beach, it really is the perfect location for an utterly relaxing holiday. The sun terrace is ideal for sunbathing or dining. The sunbeds can be moved under the orange and lemon trees for shade. The beach below is just through the gate and down only 6 steps!Although no beach in Greece is strictly private, the one below the cottage is very quiet. There are sunbeds and a beach umbrella, exclusively for the use of guests staying at The Cottage, and these can be taken down to the beach.

The Cottage has the largest pool on the island - the sea itself! Just a few steps take you directly into the sea. The water is crystal clear, making snorkelling a delight.

The Ionian Islands region

The island of Corfu is located just off the West coast of Greece. Corfu enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate along with excellent beaches making it a popular destination for holiday makers. Corfu is very green compared to other Greek islands: hot and dry summers along with winter rain creates lush vegetation which is dominated by over 2 million olive trees. These olive trees on Corfu are the main cultivation, although Corfu's tourism now provides the most income.

Nissaki is a small pretty resort with a horseshoe-shaped beach, offering excellent swimming and water sports. There are several tavernas specialising in local cuisine. A small harbour shelters the many little fishing boats that are moored there and there is a jetty/collection point for the Taverna Agni water taxi which offers an evening service to Taverna Agni and a twice-weekly trip to Corfu Town.
