Peacefully positioned in its own parkland, this 15th Century Chateau d'Ardilleux offers five large en-suite bedrooms, an indoor pool, tennis court, table tennis and a gym. It has large tasteful reception rooms and an american-style, well equipped, family kitchen. Also on site is a two bedroom cottage that can be rented in conjunction with the Chateau d'Ardilleux for groups of up to 17.
The Chateau d'Ardilleux was the country seat of the 'Fleury-Michon' family from the late 1700s. During the war it served as the headquarters of the resistance, and a tunnel is purported to link the house to nearby Chef Boutonne, some 2kms away.

Further details outdoors: Outside: The chateau is set in an acre of parkland filled with chestnut trees. There is an indoor pool (11mx3m), tennis court, pool table, ping pong table, gym, boules, badminton, and bicycles available. There is also a gas barbecue and plenty of outdoor furniture to sit and dine on. Parking space available for plenty of cars.

- Security deposit: €150. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection. - Linen & towels: Linen and towels are included in the rental price. Please note that pool towels are not included. - Energy costs: Included in the rental price. Use of the sauna is charged separately. This can be paid on departure according to use. - End of stay cleaning: Included. - Arrival time: 4pm onwards. - Departure time: 10am. - Pets: Pets allowed with prior arrangement. - Smoking: No smoking in the property.
