About the home

This large imposing house and outbuildings has at least 6 bedrooms all with en-suit bathrooms each individually themed and decorated to a luxurious standard. There are three main reception rooms, dining room with seating for 16. A spacious sitting room with elegant furniture and a tv room with library satellite tv, DVDs and Internet computer. we provide bikes and outdoor games and many other features creating a French Home from home.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Deux Sevres region

On the edge of the Maris poiteven with its pretty riverside villages the Logis de Grange is no more than about 30 mins from the historic and picturesque city of La Rochelle with its shopping harbour- side bars,superb restaurants and beaches.

There are frequent boat trips to the off shore islands of ill de. The offshore islands include I'lle De Re and Fort Boyard . Futuscope is an hour to the east near thebusstling regional capital of Poitiers.

The surrounding countryside known as La Venise Verte is renowned for its many canals with a variety of recreational facilities and there are many attractive villages such as Coulon.

The Niort / Mauze Sur Le Mignon area

2 mins away from the anciet weaving village of Mauze sur le Mignon. It has a large supermarkert, old church, lively street market twice a aeek and excellent patisseries. Niort is about 20 mins by car and boasts a tyrpically French central square with lively resaturants,and cafes.Nearby is the nationally renowned Saturday market where one can buy anaything from fresh asparagus to live rabbits.



The town of Surgeres has a historic centre with 16th Century fortifications. Niort is the nearest large town to the Logis and has an attractive central area with many fine buildings and an excellent food market.
La Rochelle is a 30 minute drive from the Logis. A popular destination for visiting yachtsmen and holiday makers. The attractive area around the old harbour has various interesting bars and restaurants. There are beaches close to the town. Ile de Re is reached by bridge from La Rochelle and is a popular holiday retreat for the French elite. The island has many fine beaches and picturesque villages with good bars and restaurant.
