O Chouzo (house)

Home description

Chouzo is an detached house with about 1500m2 gardens it is located at 300 m2 from the sea. The house has 112 m2 of surface, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen and sitting and dining room, with a working fire place, a glaced-in balcony taht runs the length of the house, very typical of the area and a terrace with a grape vine tree for shade. The area is appropriate for walking, riding, swimming etc

The Galicia region

The region is a green area with a mild climate, not too hot and not to cold, ideal for children. It s a quite area, with beautiful surroundings, with prehistoric ruins, Romanic churches, there is also a spa nearby. Playa América is not far from Portugal.

Colon came back to Spain from it first travel to Baiona la Real where his wife lived. Galicia is an Autonomic Region with its own language; Portuguese is a dialect of the old Galician. Baiona is a nice small town to visit it has very good restaurants and a Spa of sea water

Nigran area

The house is in a vacational area. There is a long fine sand beach in a vacational area. It has small paths for walking and cycling, at list a horse school, surf schools, wind surf and sailing schools also for children over 10 years. The food is good.

How to get there

25 km from Vigo airport and 90 Km from Santiago de Compostela airport, 150 km from Porto Airpot, cars can be hirednin any one of the airports. Some copmanies take passengres to vigo with small buses or taxis from Oporto Airport.

Perfectly situated for visiting Galician and Portuguese beauty spots and historical twons. e.g. Bayona, Santiago de Compostela, Tuy, Valença do miño, Oporto etc.
