About the home

A Fisherman´s cottage reformed and prepared for a big family of 9, staircases protected for babies. A front and a back garden, and a wonderful terrace with views over the bay. Its a great house for families, you spend the day at the beach, fishing or sailing and then come back home for a lovely shower and have dinner on the terrace.

Close to our home there is a well known restaurant which supplies us with excellent galician plates. You can have a maid going over and cooking for you, she would charge 9 € the hour, excellent cook.

The Galicia region

The region is a green area with a mild climate, not too hot and not to cold, ideal for children. It s a quite area, with beautiful surroundings, with prehistoric ruins, Romanic churches, there is also a spa nearby. Playa América is not far from Portugal.

Colon came back to Spain from it first travel to Baiona la Real where his wife lived. Galicia is an Autonomic Region with its own language; Portuguese is a dialect of the old Galician. Baiona is a nice small town to visit it has very good restaurants and a Spa of sea water

The Nigran area

The house is in a vacational area. There is a long fine sand beach.
It has small paths for walking and cycling, at list a horse school, surf schools, wind surf and sailing schools also for children over 10 years. The food is goo
