Home description
Our Pont Vieux apartment has 2 bedrooms. The character and charm of the apartment is complemented with recent modernisations such as double glazing, new lighting and a recently fitted, fully equipped kitchen. We recently renovated the apartment so everything inside is new and in great condition. The apartment has heaps of historic and romantic charm, with French beamed ceilings, original ‘tomette’ floors, period windows & shutters and high ceilings. The most unique feature is the original painting which still exists on the entrance ceiling and dates back to at least the 1800’s when apparently this building was a former palace!!!

Right on the doorstep you have the fantastic Cours Saleya market, where you can buy fresh fish, flowers and fruit and veg throughout the week. The Old Town (Vieux Nice) is full of windy pedestrian roads awash with cafés & bistros, typical French boulangeries and an abundance of Nice’s best restaurants. A typical day in Nice can range from sunbathing on a Mediterranean beach, Roller blading down the chic Promenade des Anglais, walking in the hills, watching a ballet at the Opera, soaking in the Jazz at the famous Nice Jazz Festival, taking a Riviera boat trip and much, much more! Rich in history and culture you’ll never be stuck for something to do, anytime of year.
How to get there
The apartment is just a short taxi or bus ride from Nice airport. The 98 bus takes you to the Gare Routière (bus station), which is just at the end of our road… so it couldn’t be easier! There are over 33 flights per day from the UK alone to Nice and cheap flights available with easyjet.co.uk from many UK airports.
