About the home

This lovely spacious 2nd floor 2/3 bedroom apartment (no lift) is in a great location approx 200 meters from old town of Nice. This apartment has a truly welcoming and homely feel. On entry through the large wooden front door you have a hallway that runs through the apartment with ornate Niçois floor tiles. On your right is a large high-ceilinged living room - very tastefully decorated - with 2 sofas and comfy armchair. There is a large flatscreen TV (with French Satellite programmes inc, BBC world and Sky news) DVDs, CD Hifi and WiFi internet access (free of charge). From the living room is a south facing balcony - with table and 2 chairs - great for a glass of wine and to watch the world go by. There are 3 top-of-the-range Daikin airconditioning units (reversible for air-con and heating) in the 2 main bedrooms and living room. The master bedroom has a kingsize (very comfortable double bed) - with access onto a sunny rear balcony. The large second bedroom leads off from the living room and has 2 single beds and a mezzanine above with a double bed. Even more flexible sleeping arrangements are provided by the single sofa bed in the study/3rd bedroom and the double sofa-bed in the living room. The large shower room has double wash basins and a super-large walk-in shower with mosaic tiling throughout plus a washing machine in a hideaway cupboard. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc and has a lovely 6 person dining table - again with access onto a rear balcony. This is a very comfortable and relaxed apartment full of Niçois style. The location is excellent as it’s just a 200 metre stroll from the old town, one block from the central bus station where the airport bus terminates and approx 300 meters from Place Massena and Jean Medecin (high street). This is an ideal base for up to 6 persons or large family but a couple would feel equally at home enjoying the comfort and space this apartment provides.

Located in Southern Europe at the south eastern extremity of France, Nice is a privileged crossroads between the Alps, Provence, Corsica and Italy. The city occupies an exceptional natural site in the heart of the French Riviera. It stretches over a coastal plain open southward onto the Mediterranean and bounded from East to West by a succession of wooded hills. In the background, rise the first peaks of the Alpine foothills, some reaching over 9000 ft above sea level, only 31 miles (from the coast) as the crow flies?

Travelling west by Train, Cannes (25 mins) and St Tropez (60 mins). Travelling East, Monte Carlo (25 mins), Val D'Isere ski resort on the Italian border (approx 65 mins).

There is a large selection of nightlife for all styles and tastes in Nice, mainly centred around the bars and restaurants of Vieux Nice (old Nice) and the pedestrian zone (off place Massena)

I must say that the apartment with its wonderful French ambiance and marvellous locality, contributed greatly to our very enjoyable holiday. We found it clean and spacious with all conveniences provided and ideal for catering for our group of five or just hanging out.

As we were positioned close to the old town with its buzzing shops and quaint restaurants we had not far to go to experience the real taste of Nice and its friendly people. The contrasting promenade and port area beyond, with the glamorous lifestyle of the people there, and the overwhelming spectacle of the moored yachts was just amazing.

As the bus station was also just a five minute walk away, we were able to take advantage of the extremely cheap travel service and enjoy day trips away to different locations including Cannes, experiencing all the glitz of the film festival. We also visited Monaco and extended our travel to the borders of Italy.
I would certainly recommend this charming apartment to all my friends for its perfect location and clean and comfortable layout.

Five of us stayed in the apartment during the first week in April. The apartment was excellent. Layout first class and very comfortable. The situation could not have been better as it is 5 minutes from the old Town, 3 minutes from the bus terminal and 10 minutes walk from the sea front and promenade. We all had a fantastic break and hope to return in the future

This is twice we have stayed in Nice, both times with Go-Nice, cant fault the service. This apartment is huge! I know it only says two beds but the place is vast, really kept its old Nice style but great to stay in. The main bedroom at the rear is very quiet and with the shutters closed could be night or day! Have a walk a few hundred metres towards the Massena Plaza and find the bakery - great for breakfast. We are already looking for another holiday in Nice, use this apartment and you will not be disappointed!

This really is a nice property. Made our first trip to Nice all the more enjoyable and relaxing.

It is well maintained, has plenty of room and all the amenities you would require. The property is also well located and has good close transportation links. In fact, its walking distance to most locations. With the airport a short car trip away.

We hired a car and pop by Canes, Monaco and a number of smaller towns and beaches in the area. So for all those planning their first trip to the area or just returning, you can’t go wrong with property for size, location and comfort.

First time renting in Nice, we were very impressed with standard. Everything we needed like hair dryer and travel cot. We have no complaints. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you very much for making our holiday really enjoyable.
