About the home

This is a stunning 5th floor - 2 bedroom apartment - in a very elegant building - in a prime central location right in centre of the Carre d'Or which is next to the pedestrian zone - in a private cul-de-sac with direct walking access through to the promenade des Anglais and beach. On entry into the apartment you have a very large living and dining area - the living area has a large and very comfy L shaped sofa bed - with full size flat screen TV and HiFi - Phone for incoming calls and ADSL/wifi internet access- there is a large 6 person dining table and chairs and a fully equipped 'American' kitchen including oven, hob, micowave, dishwasher and washing machine and all utensils. The large double windows open onto a lovely south/east facing terrace (approx 15 meters sq) with furniture - the terrace is very sunny and has an open view of the roof-tops and hills in background surrounding Nice. The master bedroom has a super-kingsize double bed (1.80m x 2m) with cupboards and an en suite bathroom (with full bath) The 2nd twin bedroom has twin beds - that can be pushed together to make a double. All rooms have direct access on to the terrace. There is also a further shower room with toilet. This apartment has been completely refurbished and furnished to a very high standard - it has full reversible air-conditioning throughout and is located in a very quiet and secure building - making this an ideal base for families or 2 couple to enjoy Nice.

Located in Southern Europe at the south eastern extremity of France, Nice is a privileged crossroads between the Alps, Provence, Corsica and Italy. The city occupies an exceptional natural site in the heart of the French Riviera. It stretches over a coastal plain open southward onto the Mediterranean and bounded from East to West by a succession of wooded hills. In the background, rise the first peaks of the Alpine foothills, some reaching over 9000 ft above sea level, only 31 miles (from the coast) as the crow flies?

Travelling west by Train, Cannes (25 mins) and St Tropez (60 mins). Travelling East, Monte Carlo (25 mins), Val D'Isere ski resort on the Italian border (approx 65 mins).

There is a large selection of nightlife for all styles and tastes in Nice, mainly centred around the bars and restaurants of Vieux Nice (old Nice) and the pedestrian zone (off place Massena)
The general ambiance is a relaxed informal environment with many Pubs and clubs catering for an international clientel, bars such as .....

5 Adults stayed in the apartment with no difficulties and this was helped by an en suite bathroom to the master bedroom. The apartment was located more or less behind the Palais de la Mediterrane and was very short walk to the beach. It was also a very short walk to the main shopping area of Nice and Nice-Ville train station which is excellent for visiting nearby Cannes and Monte Carlo.

The standard of the apartment was superior and it was very clean. Beautiful wooden floors and contemporary design meant that it was very comfortable for us. The large balcony was superb to enjoy afternoon sunshine and glasses of wine in the evening.

We would certainly recommend this apartment without hesitation.

The photos in your brochure does not do justice to the flat. The flat was superb, beautifully furnished and all amneties were very good. We did not like the furniture in the lounge, we think that sofa sets would be better, more comfortable. The location of the flat is excellent and near everywhere a tourist needs to go. We loved all ten days and will definitely go again,and my friends will be hearing about this flat. Please keep up the high standards that you have in place now.

We spent just three nights in Palais Royal in the middle of October 2009. We are a family of 4. The key collection at the airport worked well. The directions to the apartment and other documentation was perfect. This apartment is in a very good location for a city break. The equipment and the condition of the apartment were good. The cleanliness of the apartment was perfect. The bed linen and towels service was as expected. The floor plan of this apartment is ideal for a family with 2 children. We have made numerous trips in the area over many years, but this was our first experience from Go-Nice. We were utmost happy with everything and can truly recommend this company. We are very likely to book with Go-Nice again. We respect these people as professional and customer-oriented private entrepreneurs. All in all, we enjoyed our short break in one of our favourite places in Europe, and not least due to the great job done by Go-Nice.

We spent 10 days in Nice in September. We (3 quite active 70+ people)were delighted with the apartment, I don’t think your photos really do it credit! Everything,from booking arrangements,
friendly service,communications, picking up keys at the airport, was made very easy for us.
The apartment was so well situated,just as convenient as I had hoped, from studying street maps
of Nice at home. We really enjoyed the balcony and ate all our meals there, it is especially lovely
in the evening with a glass or two of wine.
It is an excellent location, easy for walking the Old Town, etc. and an easy walk to bus and
train stations for visits further afield. There is so much to see in Nice, superb museums, galleries, not to mention markets, we had a great time and I should love to come again. Thank you so much.

We spent a week in Palais Royal at the beginning of June with our friends. The apartment is well located, well equipped, clean & quite spacious to accommodate 2 couples. The large balcony gets the afternoon & evening sun. This was our 2nd holiday with Go-Nice - we were so impressed on our first trip that we had no hesitation in coming back. We found Paul Mannion very helpful, key collection & directions to the apartment were spot on. We had a lovely holiday & will certainly use Go-Nice again & recommend them to our friends.
