About the home

This 4th floor apartment is located in a quiet residential block in the sought-after musician’s area in Nice. The apartment is fully equipped and beautifully furnished with double bed and leather sofa, this apartment is ideal for couples wanting a relaxing holiday.

It is superbly located within a 10 minute walk to the Promenade. It is also an ideal base for visiting Monaco, Antibes, Cannes, and other popular destinations on the Cote d'Azur, all easily accessible by train or bus (all buses 1€) NICE CARNIVAL 2011 18TH FEB TO 8TH MARCH (Selected days) GREAT FUN NOT TO BE MISSED. SKI SEASON/SKI IN THE MORNING AND SUN BATHE IN THE AFTERNOON/SKI RESORTS BY BUS 1 EURO EVEN IF YOU DO NOT SKI A GREAT DAY OUT. ALSO THE JAZZ & MUSIC FESTIVAL'S. We have a flat screen TV, DVD with selection of English DVDs, a iPod dock/radio, washing machine, induction hob/oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, and hair dryer. Although there is a sofa bed it is not a permanent sleeper so really only for 1 adult/child. The bright and sunny balcony can be used for relaxing and dining up to 4. And little extra's to make your holiday special.

The large sunny balcony has table and chairs, sun loungers and an electric canopy. The sun is on the balcony from early morning until early afternoon. Perfect for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner or just relaxing. Shutters on all windows. Parking is available on the street charged at local rate, no charge after 18.00pm and 9.00am and 12.00 to 14.00 is free.
Bus/Tram ticket €15 each at the airport includes airport express bus both ways (€4 each way)

Welcome pack on arrival including wine, water, juice, bread, butter, tea, coffee & fresh flowers also detailed information on Nice and the surrounding area and events. Maps and guides.

English owners are on hand should any problems arise.

All bed linen, towels are supplied including beach towels, small folding beach chairs, cooler bag, shopping trolley, basket & 2 fans for high season. Final cleaning is also included, however in certain circumstances (short bookings) we may have to impose an extra small cleaning/laundry charge.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR rentals will have seasonal decorations.

Conditions

The apartment is NON-SMOKING according to French Law and no pets are allowed.

The block is a quite and residential one, so not suitable for party animals! or groups of teenagers.
Should our apartment be fully booked we can highly recommend another one so do not hesitate to ask me direct.

The area is extremely well served with restaurants and bars, one being the famous L’Occitane. There are shops, bakers and all that you need for an ideal self-catering holiday. 5 minute walk to Rue France with its Museum Massena and all the shops, bars & restaurants just off the promenade are just a 10 minute walk away. Along the promenade you will reach the famous Cours Saleya market and behind that is the Old Town stacked with history, bars, restaurants, galleries and craft shops. For history and art lovers the opportunities are endless. Town bikes for hire (as Paris) 1st 1/2 hr free locations all over town. JOIN IN THE FUN OF MANY DIFFERENT CARNIVALS AND FESTIVALS ALL YEAR ROUND. JAZZ FESTIVAL AND FREE MUSIC WEEKEND IN NICE SEE NICE TOURISM SITE FOR ALL THE INFO.

Direct bus from the airport to the station costs only €4. Meet and greet at the airport can be arranged if needed.

The transport system in Nice is excellent and there is really no need to hire a car. Trams and Buses cost 1 euro for all journeys even to Monaco and Cannes.

All major airlines and budget airlines have routes to Nice, also coaches and of course TGV/Eurostar with trains from London and all the UK. Trains also from Italy and Spain. Ferries also available at the Port.

We have no hidden extras apart from breakages. A £200 DEPOSIT will be required when booking and full payment on arrival in Pounds or Euros (exchange rate in Euros on Arrival) The deposit is to secure dates/damage/excessive cleaning/lost keys and is refunded on departure in full. (ref's supplied if required) a 50% charge will be applied for late cancellation or non arrival, unless a valid reason.
