About the home
This beautiful two-bedroom apartment was recently renovated and has quality furniture throughout.
It is on an upper floor of a converted monastery in the heart of the Old Town. The location could not be better; a 5 minute stroll to the beach, next to Place Rosetti and amid the vibrancy of Vieux Nice - but on a residential street, which means it is quiet enough to avoid excessive noise.
Stylishly decorated throughout with quality modern furniture. The lounge-diner features the traditional nicoise colours of red and black and has a three seater sofa, large armchair, flat screen TV with DVD player and a large dining table with chairs for four. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including a washing machine and dishwasher, to remove all the stresses from your holiday.
The separate bedrooms mean this apartment really is suitable for up to four adults. Both rooms have comfortable double beds and plenty of storage space. The main bedroom has a ceiling fan, ipod docking system and large wardrobe.
The Italian designed bathroom with separate bath and shower adds even more chic to the apartment.

Enquire nowThe Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
Nice is located in the South-Eastern corner of France, close to the border with Italy. The area is known as the Cote d'Azur because of its beautiful blue waters which make this part of the Mediterranean very special.
Nice is easy to reach by plane from the UK (approx. 1h45).
Geographically located in a prime spot, Nice is a twenty minute train ride to Monaco, forty-five minutes into Italy, thirty minutes in the other direction to Cannes and St Tropez is accessible by boat. It is also only a two hours to the southern Alps (ski resort of Isola & Auron) and a two hour ferry ride to Corsica. (All times are approximations.)
The Nice / Vieux Nice area
In recent years Nice has become the centre of the Cote d'Azur and possibly the main tourist destination in southern France. Major rebuilding work over the past couple of years has turned the city into an idyl for sun lovers and adventure seekers alike. The new tram system and expanded pedestrianised zones have transformed the city centre into a quieter people-friendly environment.
The Old Town (Vieux Nice) is at the end of the Promenade Anglais and overlooks the beach. This is the real centre of Nice, and will definitely be the focal point of your holiday, which is why it makes sense to stay within the narrow network of streets. You will spend many hours strolling through the alleys, admiring the architecture, shopping in the variety of shops, eating in the diverse restaurants, and wandering through the selection of markets in the Cours Saleya.
Activities in the area: Shopping, Art and Culture, Antiques, Eating, Drinking, Partying, Promenading, Relaxing, Wine Tasting, Homes of the Rich and Famous, Yachts, Boat Trips, Scuba, & Sunbathing!

This apartment is ideally situated for anyone who would like a few days in the sunshine of Nice. It is centrally located, just a few minutes' walk from the beach and is in the midst of a vast number of excellent restaurants and bars. Travel from the airport is straightforward and direct and not at all expensive. Perfect location to travel along the coast to other places such as Cannes, Monaco & Antibes. Just be aware that there are a few steps up to the apartment, so bear this in mind when packing your suitcase! |

You could not ask for better than this apartment in the Old Town. You step out into the beating heart of Nice. Located three minutes walk from the beach and the tram lines. Restaurants and excellent shopping are around every corner. This is an apartment I will use again. Lovely and professiinal owners make for easy booking. Very clean with full amenities allowing total privacy for those who prefer self catering over a hotel holiday ie, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. There are also leaflets listing the attraction which came in very useful. Everything you need is waiting for you. Beach mats, towels, even a sun umbrella. If you want the full French immersion experience you can do no better. A sincere thank you for a wonderful stay. Until next time… Response: Glad you had a nice time. You're welcome anytime. |

The apartment was slap bang in the middle of where we wanted to be! Moments away from restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries, shops, markets, the beach, the list literally goes on. Although it is at the top of 80 steps (probably not suitable for everyone) it did us good to work off some of the cheese and wine, and it is worth the wait. The apartment is very well kept by the lovely representative and is well equip for eating in. The modern decor is offset by the character of the old French building and the open living plan worked well for 4 girls with a lot of luggage. The bedrooms are a good size, particularly the master, and comfortably fit 4 adults. Nice itself was also fantastic - a great base for exploring Monaco and Cannes. We particularly enjoyed visiting Villefranche-Sur-Mer (2 stops on the train) and Juan-Les Pins (8 stops the other way) for some more comfortable beaches! The Old Town itself has a great atmosphere and nightlife, and is close to the main promenade. The service was great - our questions were always answered promptly and the representative had a wonderful local knowledge of Nice and the area. Would definitely recommend to both family and friends. Top tip: Visit Le Bistro du Fromager (turn left of the apartment then right) - the food is out of this world! |
