About the home

On entry from the hallway to the living area - you are greeted by a very bright and comfortable living room - with 2 full length double windows that surround the central fireplace - as the apartment faces south - you get tremendous light into the room - and with a full length wall mirror has a feeling of space. There is a large L shaped sofa and coffee table and flat screen TV with a large DVD selection Wifi internet and english news channels - there is a large glass dining table and 6 chairs and an American kitchen - the living room has a very comfortable a homely feel - and as 5th floor plenty of light - perfect to relax and enjoy glass of wine.

There are 2 very comfortable and spacious double bedrooms with large kingsize double beds - and storage cupboards - both rooms face south so are bright and appealing with double glazing and air conditioning in both rooms.There is a really spacious bathroom - with large corner bath, 2 hand-basins and further separate walk-in shower and WC - there is a further 2nd separate WC in hallway. The kitchen has full utensils, oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher - and full cooking utensils - there is a washing machine and dryer in separate cupboard off the hallway. This apartment has air conditioning in both bedrooms.

Place Grimaldi is one of the most prestigious squares of Nice - only 20 meters from the Pedestrian zone and 150 meters from beach and sea front. The local area has many restaurants and boulangeries and certainly some of the best boutique shops in Nice.

Thanks for helping us find the Grimaldi place, and please tell the owners we greatly appreciate them renting it to us. My wife and I stayed here while I competed in the 2009 Ironman France race and everything was great - close to the race start and all the activities for that race. The place is huge by “french” standards and very close walk to all the water activities and even the train station really. Great for two couples I guess, but we liked the extra space for just the two of us. Lots of great places to eat nearby and close to the bus stops - we never needed a taxi to go anywhere even the airport. Everything in the apt worked great. The coordination of getting the keys and the detailed instructions for finding the place were top notch. I have no idea why anyone would stay in a hotel when there are great places like this to rent. It made for a superb trip to Nice and an overall great experience. Thanks again! - Harper
