The climate of the cote d'Azur means that you will find the sun virtually all year round: winter is mild and often sunny and is the quietest period.Spring and Autumn see everything in bloom and Summer brings sun bathing weather with the nightlife at its busiest.
The coast is alive with famous resorts , Villefranche, Cap Ferrat, Menton, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Antibes, Cannes,St Tropez and so on while inland lie the stunning villages such as St Paul de Vence and Gourdon.
Ski resorts are just over one hour away by car or can be reached by rail from Chemin de Fer from Nice.
Nice / Nice West area
Located in a quiet residential suburb of Nice but in an ideal location to explore the cote d'Azur with excellent road , air and trian connections.Monaco - Monte carlo, Cannes, Antibes can all be easily accessed.
St tropez is easily reached in the summer months by boat with Italy being only 45mins by train , ideal for a day trip to its famous market .After a busy days sightseeing, have a day beside the private swimming pool .Local shops and takeaway 2 mins walk form the apartment.
There is a bus stop outside the apartment giving a regular 30 minute service taking 10 mins to the Promenade des Anglais or alternatively a short 20 min downhill stroll. Taxi service available with contact details in apartment or taxis from taxi rank in Nice centre for that late night out.
Nice is a city of art , music ,drama , restaurants and nightlife featuring the daily flower market in the old town.Nice Carnival takes place over 2 days in February with processions, fireworks confetti battles and masked balls.The Jazz festival in August attracts world famous musicians ( van morrison, Joss Stone etc)and in July there is the international Festival of folk tradition.
