The Provencal shutters create a cool shady interior which allows you to leave the the windows open and keep the flat cool. Of course if you are a winter visitor there is cental heating at no extra charge.

The bathroom is a good size for a city apartment with a full size bath and also double windows for natural light.

There is a floor fan and a small clip fan provided.

Further details outdoors

The apartment is in a listed purpose built block constructed in 1933. The common parts are cleaned regularly and there is an original cage lift not really needed as the apartment is just a few marble steps up.

Further details

This apartment is managed by a professional English speaking representative who is on hand to answer any questions.

The owner has a good relationship with the other residents, most of whom are year rounders so would be grateful if clients could bear this in mind. The apartment would not suit those who wish to make above normal noise.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region

There is so much to experience on the Riviera if you can tear yourself away from Nice. From the railway station at the top of the road you can take a train and be in Ventimiglia for Friday market or San Remo for Saturday market. If you are a garden lover be prepared for some of the most beautiful gardens in the world, the Rothschild near Beaulieu is only a short drive away and a trip to the Siera Madonne garden near Menton should not be missed. A five minute bus trip from the port will find you in Villefranche perhaps for Sunday antique market and lunch.

In the opposite direction a trip to St Paul de Vence will reward you with a memorable day walking through cobbled streets filled with interesting shops and art galleries. Rest awhile in the main Square with a drink and watch the locals play petangue.

Along the coast is Juan les pins which has a lovely sandy beach and great for a day out. Cannes is also worth a visit especially during the Fim Festival. There are just too many wonderful places to visit, just get a guide book and away you go!

Where to begin? There is so much to see and experience. Start your day with a trip next door to the boulangerie to pick up your freshly baked croissants or sip your excellent morning coffee outside the Victor Hugo Cafe on the corner of the road whilst you plan your day.

At the bottom of the road is the Palais Massena which contains the most beautiful rooms and a history of Nice. Itis et within an exceptional park which is a haven of peace and a place to rest in the sun or shade. It contains a wonderful range of Mediterranean plants and palms.

Cross the Promenade and stroll along the Prom, maybe lunching on one of the many beaches. The old Town can be reached from the port end of the prom. A must is a lift ride or walk to the Chateau where you can experience an amazing 360 degree view of Nice and surrounding areas.

After this you will be in need of food and back in the old town you will be spoiled for choice. Just take your pick from any region you choose
