Located literally next door to the world famous Negresco hotel, moments from the beach and the pedestrian centre of Nice, this spacious and well equipped apartment in a typical Belle Epoche building is ideal for anyone who is looking to make the most of their stay on the Riviera.

There are two spacious bedrooms, the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom overlooks the rear courtyard garden. The large double lounge with it's high ceilings,decorative cornices and double French windows that open out on to two sunny balconies provides a relaxing sitting area and comfortable dining area.

The CD Player has a built in I Pod dock making it easier for you to enjoy all of your own music.

Beach towels and parasols are provided, saving that all important luggage allowance.

A sofa bed is located in the master suite, making it ideal for couples with younger children.

This apartment is in the perfect location for sight seeing, sports or relaxing on the beach. Within 200 metres walk is fresh bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, large supermarket, newsagent (with same day English newspapers) , and a selection of good restaurants.
A car is not a necessity. All train and bus servies are within walking distance so you can explore this wonderful region without the hassle of driving, but if you prefer to drive all the main car hire companies are based at Nice Airport Terminal 2, and secure parking is only 250 metres from the apartment.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

It is posible to spend ones lifetime exploring this region of France as Provence has so much to see and explore. However using Nice as a base for your holiday, a one hour journey by local bus or train can take you to Monte Carlo and Monaco, Cannes, the beautiful hill top village of St Paul De Vence or the Alpine resorts of Auron and Isola 2000.

The famous large weekly market in Vintimille In Italy is also an hours train ride away. The beauty and the climate have been the main attractions for so many famous artists over the centuries.

The Nice / Central Nice area

Nice, the capital of the Riviera offers so much. Throughout the year there are spectacular and varied events, whether it be the Carnival in February to celebrate the arrival of spring or the open air Jazz Festival for two weeks in July , there is always something going on.

There are many museums, historical sites and art galleries to visit. Hours can be spent strolling round the old town with its many restaurants and shops. Stroll along the promenade or just take a seat on the famous blue chairs and people watch.

For the more adventurous there are a variety of watersports available on the beaches, and for those of you who would just like to get away from it all and relax, take a beach towel and stroll to the beach at the end of the street.

Fly to Nice from most UK airports (via Easy-Jet, British Airways, Jet 2 and BMI Baby).

Take a taxi or airport bus marked Nice Centre Ville (every 20 minutes) to the Negresco Hotel on the Promenade Des Anglais which runs the full length of the bay. The apartment is situated in the street directly behind the Negresco Hotel. (The hotel is the most famous landmark in Nice).

If car hire is required this is easily available from Avis,Hertz etc who are all based at the airport at Terminal 2.

It may also be possible to arrange airport transfer (enquire at time of booking).

“Lovely place to stay” A really well equipped appartment in an ideal locaton to visit the city. Close to Promenade de Anglais or one steet behind the appartment you could walk along and find some nice restaurants, one we liked was La Trattoria fantastic home cooked pizza's, try the Calezionne. Also walking distance to good bakery and supermarket.Our third visit to Nice always something different to do.
