The size of a two/three bedroom property, this brand new rental property offers you a roomy state of the art bathroom and separate cloakroom along with spacious living and dining area. Up on the 5th floor of a quiet, residential apartment block with unbeatable views along the most exclusive tree lined boulevard in Nice, this property is serviced by a lift with a resident concierge. It was totally refurbished throughout in 2008 and is furnished to a very high standard.. The floors are wood parquet in the lounge and bedroom and tiled elsewhere.



The bedroom, quietly positioned at the rear has views of the hills above Nice and the Alps beyond. Step from the sunny living area through the French windows onto the south facing terrace where you can sit in the sun all day long from breakfast with your fresh baguettes until its time to watch the sun go down with a glass of excellent champagne!.

Known for its hot summers and mild winters, Nice has been a tourist attraction since the days of Queen Victoria. Here you find yourself between the Mountains and the Deep Blue Sea. Go from walking in the Mercantour National park or skiing in the Alps to watersports and sunbathing on the local beach. Come for the carnival in February, the Menton Citrus festival, the Cannes Film Festival and of course the Monaco Grand Prix. Whatever time of year you come, you will never be short of something to see and experience. If you hire a car, you can explore the medieval perched villages scattered in the hills across the region or travel over the border into Italy for some fresh pasta lika Mamma used to maka!!

The Nice / Carre d'Or area

In the 'Golden square' of Nice, on THE most exclusive boulevard, you are just two minutes from the new tramway. A short journey to the bus garage will enable you to go anywhere in the region. Just ten minutes from the sea one way or the train station the other, this becomes an ideal base from which to explore. For designer shopping, look no further than your doorstep but bring your credit card!. Fine art museums are within easy distance and the old town with its cobbled streets and flower market is 10 minutes stroll through the famous Place Massena, a great place to buy your souvenirs and taste the local Socca., The Port is a little further round and only the very best yachts my dear!. There are beautiful views from the hills and perched villages around NIce and boat trips take you along the coast or out to Corsica/Sardinia in high season. If you are a beach fan, try lunch at a beach restaurant, followed by some swimming /local water sports or just stay and improve your tan!

“fabulous apartment ! perfect location !” We stayed at Les Gallettes in the second week of july which was great as we went to the jazz festival one night and experienced bastille day celebrations another night, a great atmosphere throughout the city. The apartment is in the centre of Nice just 3 minutes from the main shops, a 10 minute walk to the beaches, it was lovely and clean with a modern kitchen and bathroom and enough room on the balcony for the two of us to sit with a drink and watch the world go by. We were met at the apartment by Jane who showed us around and gave us tips and ideas like visiting Eze village which was a pretty hill top cavanous village on the way to Monaco where they make perfume and soaps. We had a great holiday and would love to go back again to a lovely apartment. Response: Thank you for being our first trip advisor reviewers and we are so pleased you obviously had such a great time!
