The balcony has views of both the ocean, and city. The bathroom has WC, vanity, bath and shower combination. Television, DVD and Stereo are available in the main living room, furnishings include 6 person dining table, comfort chairs, 2 king size beds and couch which can double as a twin bed. climate control, and automatic fans are also available in the apartment.

The Nice / Carre d'Or area

There are a variety of water sports available and beach volleyball is the activity of choice of the local youth in Nice. On a fine evening, why not have dinner at one of the many restaurants directly on the beach.
Parallel to the beach, Boulevard Victor Hugo is a splendid area dissecting the two most popular areas of the city, the Quartiers Musiciens and the Carre DOr. Like most of the better areas of Nice, Victor Hugo has some tranquil parks where you can relax with a newspaper and a coffee, winter through to summer.

Four adults stayed here in October for a week. The apartment was in a lovely old apartment block with beautiful high ceilings and lovely french shutters to the windows and a small balcony with a view of the sea. When reading the information on this property it says it has 2 bathrooms but there was only one which was a bit of a pain with four adults. We had to stop using the shower towards the end of the holiday as a tenant in the downstairs apartment came to inform us that his bedroom was flooded. He wasn't joking as his room was soaking wet. He did say that he had reported this problem a month before. The kitchen was not very clean and had to be given a good clean before use, although we took one look at the cooker and didn't even want to use it. We settled down for a nice glass of wine to find only one wine glass to share between four of us. The lounge was a lovely big airy room which could have benefited from some more comfy furniture and only one chair on the balcony. Lovely comfy beds but the pillows needed replacing and towels were very hard and not enough of them for a week. It does suggest that the apartment was suitable for people with restricted mobility but it was up several flights of stairs with no lift and was hard going for a mobile person! In a great central location of Nice with lots of lovely eating places and shops. It could be fantastic with a little more attention to detail. Response: thanks for the honest review; it is the only way that we can know what issues our guests face when renting the property; as we are only there for a few months per year. I have spoken with the cleaning staff, and we have spent the winter months addressing the issues you mention in your review, including now ensuring that there is at least 1 full day in between changeovers so that cleaning and washing of fresh linens can be completed in full between stays, and does not need to be rushed, as it was in your case when there was 2 hours between the last departure and your arrival. The property management team has guaranteed that these issues will not happen in the future, and i would like to extend my apologies for any inconvenience caused. Of course, should you decide to stay again, we will happily offer you a preferred weekly rate. |

"This is an excellent flat in a fantastic location to explore Nice and the rest of the Cote dAzur. Within Nice, you are just a block off the beach, a block off the pedestrian area for food and shopping and a short walk to old city. I have been to Nice 3 times before this visit and it does not get any better than this!! The flat has plenty of space, good furnishings and the balcony overlooking the street with a view of the sea is gorgeous. We brought DVDs so we could watch movies since most TV channels are in French. We also rented a car and explored other cities along the coast. Parking is a bit of a hassle in Nice but it was well worth it. I would definitely recommend this flat and I hope to return again and stay here in the future!"
