Choose to rent our elegant apartment in the heart of Nice, rather than booking into a hotel. Our apartment, Les Narcices is designed by the famous Nice architect Rene Liveri in 1936.This is currently featured in an exhibition on mosaics in Nice during the Art Deco period for its pretty mosaics of Les Narcies and Les Violets.

Our elegant and stylish two bedroom apartment is on the third floor of a beautifully decorated Art Deco apartment block with its lovely entrance hall and mosaics to the exterior on the top floors.The sitting room opens on a sunny balcony overlooking the Square. The master bedroom is spacious with mirrored wardrobes a double bed and a chaise lounge. The second double bedroom has a desk, and a sunny terrace, with a view of a magnificent palm tree.

The apartment itself is beautifully renovated with high standard furniture and fittings and a brand new bathroom and Scandinavian style kitchen fully equipped with cooking pans, dishwasher. There is full central heating as well as air-conditioning in the apartment for your luxury and comfort and we have maintained all original features where possible, so we believe the interior has a soul whilst giving you all the creature comforts of modern day living.The apartment also has a lift quite unusual in Nice in older apartments with character.

The location of the apartment is superb being only a short walk from the beach and public transport.. It is only 8 to10 minutes walk to the beach, the famous Promanade des Anglais.The bus (No 23 from Terminal 1, costs only Euro 1.50) to and from the airport stops within 100 meters of the apartment , saving you time and money. The apartment is in a chic area of Nice , Quartier Musiciens where all the roads are named after musicians for example Rue Rossini, Rue Verdi etc. Being in this pretty quartier, you have the benefit of sampling brasseries, markets, delis, and boutiques mostly used by locals.

Above all this is our own holiday home away from home which we enjoy very much and hope you will too.

The apartment is on the third floor of this super block with its lovely entrance hall and painted/ mosaic exterior. It has a small balcony overlooking the Square but there is also a very sunny rear terrace, which has a view of a magnificent palm tree. The apartment has an ornate and efficient lift.

Most of the original features are maintained, it is our home away from home, and hope you will enjoy it. we have tried not to make it feel impersonal and hotel like whilst giving you all the comforts expected on holiday.

The orientation is east and west so the bedroom with its terrace and the master bedroom benefit from the early morning sun from the east and the lounge on the front of the building is bathed in the setting sunlight.

There is one spacious bedroom with a double bed , a chaise lounge and a wardrobe. The second bedroom also has a double bed. There is a flat screen TV with cable, DVD and CD Player. The flat has a well equipped kitchen with a sunny balcony and a cafe table and chairs for your coffee and croissants.

We have broadband internet access, if you wish to bring your laptop. The apartment is fully air conditioned and also centrally heated.

Less than 10 minutes level walk to the beach the famous Promanade Des Anglais, with fabulous facilities, deck chairs, loungers available to rent and also stretches of free accesible areas for you to take your own picnic, umbrellas and loungers.

A meet and greet facility is provided with friendly and efficient service. Freshly laundered set of sheets, bath towels, and hand towels . Sam a resident of Nice will meet you give you the keys and show you how everything works. He speaks English too!One set of linen and towels provided. If you wanted further sets or additional cleaning for longer stays, Sam will provide you with this for a small charge directly payable to him.

Nice enjoys lovely weather all year round.It is art lovers paradise It has numerous museums and galleries (Matisse and Chagall amoung them), three theatres, opera house and symphony orchestra. The train station is only a five-minute walk from the apartment. This excellent service takes you to all the must-see towns and beaches along the Cote d’Azur. The Musicians Quarter is the most elegant and central living area of the city. It is the hub of all the shopping and cultural activities yet is also beside the Promenade des Anglais and within easy waking distance of the old town.

Thank you very much for your review.We indeed have nice neighbours the surrounding area and the shops are full of character.I am glad you enjoyed your stay, do visit again in another season! There is more to discover, a specialist bonsai nursery down the road towards the Russian church , the owner is a true character very passionate about his plants and very hospitable! Visit to the fabulous Deli just accross Casino, expensive but scrumptious only open up to 1 pm!

"Excellent"

I would like to begin by thanking for all the help that I got after I rented out the apartment. This was my first time in Nice and I could easily say that the advice and information that I received upon arrival has made my stay much more easier. My stay took almost four months and I enjoyed every single day.

First of all, the location is very good. I never took the bus to go to the center or the old town. The neighborhood is safe and most of the time I preferred walking even at night. There are quite a few parks where you would find people spending time with their children and pets or just having a lovely evening outside. It is also very easy to navigate as the street near by is one of the largest ones and I always used it as a reference in order not to get lost. Also it takes you right to the beach.

The inside of the apartment is very spacious. You will find all the necessities the you'd need for every day life. That even includes a bunk when you need to lay down at the beach as it made of small rocks. It is also very safe as the door is made of steel and has two locks. The apartment is very clean and has a good internet connection.

The train station is just a five minute walk so for those who like to travel it is a perfect place. There are also a pharmacy and food store on the other side of the street and if necessary there is a large supermarket just seven minutes down the large street that I was talking about before.

I also have no complaints about the neighbors. I never once herd any noise during my whole stay. The hole is cleaned every morning and there is an elevator if you are not a fan of stairs.

All in all, I had a wonderful stay and when i compared this apartment to the ones that my friend rented out this one has the best price/quality ratio. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to have a perfect stay in this beautiful city.

"Large apartment in convenient location"

The apartment was spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. Lots of good restaurants near by. Really great market down the street as well as a gourmet prepared foods stand. Easy walk to the beach as well as the train. Can walk everywhere from here!

"Tidy, convenient, and good location"

Very well organized apartment with full equipments. Convenient to live with children. The location is great. Direct bus to the airport. Bus station is just nearby. Close to the train station. Walking distance to the beach and old town.
