This apartment is located on rue de la Buffa, just a short walk to bars, cafes, restaurants and all the main highlights of Nice. It is decorated and equipped to a very high standard. This apartment is ideal for two people and can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably as as there is a sofa bed and a double bed. There are three floors in total and the apartment is on the 3rd and last floor. The entrance has been designed in a modern contemporary appeal - quite simply beautiful.
The apartment is themed with natural white, brown and beige colour schemes.
The floor is laminate wood in a light shade. There are a lovely set of ornaments that give a magnificent final touch to the apartment that compliments the overall decor. The apartment has been themed very well and all the colours, furnishings, and ambience together make this an outstanding apartment.
The apartment faces a residential area, that is peaceful and away from traffic. There is an elevator and a beautiful staircase to lead to the apartment.
There is very good natural light due a large window that overlooks a courtyard. The apartment has very high ceiling and contains a mezzanine which contains the main sleeping area. The space underneath the stairs can be used for extra storage would be suitable for the guests who would sleep downstairs. There is also space in a beautiful wooden antique chest of drawers for personal items.
The kitchen is open plan - modern, neat and tidy. It has a two plate ceramic hob, extractor fan, integrated microwave oven. There is plenty of cupboard space and is fully equipped. It has an integrated refrigerator, microwave oven and washing machine. Finally there is a beautiful granite worktop that compliments the kitchen units. There is a bistro table that can be used for dining for breakfast, lunch or diner.
A small but subtle point to mention is that there are two separate toilets in this apartment.
From the lounge there are stairs that lead onto a mezzanine floor which leads to the bedroom. There is ample headroom on the top floor. Clean, modern, fresh appeal. There are plenty of cupboards for storage. The bed is new and there are side cabinets with reading lights. The bedroom leads into
a beautiful shower and water closet. The bathroom sink is made of glass sink with adjacent shelving. There is storage space that contains the iron and board and more space for linens.
There is an air conditioner, silent and efficient, which doubles up as a heater in the colder months.
The quality of the apartment, the charm and location and provide the foundation of a beautiful relaxing break - you will not be disappointed!

Nice is the epicentre of the French Riviera. One can find nearly every type of outdoor activity and adventure all within reasonable commuting distance either by foot or by other available means of transport such as trains, buses and ferries. Nice has a major event on nearly every month; food festivals, sports events such triathlon and marathon, and music and family events such as the carnival, and jazz festival are to name but a few. It is a very lively, friendly place that offers extreme diversity and richness.
There are plenty of areas for the more adventurous, rock climbing, trekking, rafting, kayaking are all within easy commutable distance. In winter one can travel to the nearest ski piste of Isola 2000, have a decent days skiing and return within good time for a decent night out.

The Nice / Carre d'Or area
There are several local markets that sell fresh produce, meats and fishes. Cours Saleya, is a leisurely 20minute walk from the apartment. As well as providing a food market during the day it has a wonderful flower market that is very reasonably priced. In the evening the area is flooded with people wining and dining with products from various regional and cultural backgrounds.
There are several very chic bars within walking distance from the apartment that generally serve crudités and excellent wines and cocktails. The ambient atmosphere, together with music and people, that are well behaved, make in all a very pleasant evening.
There are several parks available. The best in the area is arguably the Parc du château. This is a park that is situated at the top of the hill in Vieux Nice (old town) that overlooks the city. The view from the hill shows the stunning breathtaking beauty of the city of Nice. There are several ways to reach the park; one can drive to the top, or take the elevator, or the “Petit Train Touristique”.
This is a tourist train that one can commence their journey from the Promenade to the top, stop off for a few hours and then return. The train tours all the major favourite tourist hot spots so in all it makes a fantastic day out. It is common to have picnics and it is very well accommodating for children as it has an excellent playground and plenty of space to make noise, explore and have fun. There is never a time when a performing artist is not showing their skills; jugglers, acrobats and martial artists use this area as it has excellent free space overlooking the entire city. The other noteworthy park is Carol de Roumanie. It has a small golf putting area and a water play area, splendid for the family.
With so many day and night activities, and the wealth of quality restaurants, bars and cafes, one would probably do well just chilling out on the beach. The beach itself has many bars and restaurants that serve excellent food and wine. There are plenty of water sports available on the beach from jet skiing to para-sailing. The sea is lovely, generally calm and clean with showers peppered all along the beach.
Roller blading and Jogging are very common activities on the Promenade as well as the gentle stroll. The surface is excellent and together with the fresh early morning air, blissful sun and calming sea, one can find that the body will be well rejuvenated.
Nice has excellent commuting links to nearby towns to Antibes, Cannes, Monaco, all within a short train journey. St Paul de Vence is a beautiful town full of Arts and Crafts and it is definitely a must together with the perfumeries of Grasse, it will make a day to remember. Ventimiglia is an excellent town on the border of Italy that can take less than one hour to commute. The Friday market is particularly well known due to the low cost diverse range of products available.

I've been twice in this apartment in October, a nice time to be in Nice, because the weather is still warm enough for the sunbathing, swimming in the beach and walking in the charming streets of the city. Me and my friend enjoyed the stay in the stylish furnitured apartment very much. She slept in the bed upstairs, me on the sofa bed downstairs. We had both enough space for our luggage and each our own WC. Enough space for two close friends! We felt really at home. Shops, cafes and restaurants are all nearby, beach(restaurants) just a 3 minutes walk. Nice offers theatre, culture and shopping on walking distance. Or hire a bike! The owner has made two maps with lots of useful information about Nice and the Cote as well. We will definitely return to Nice and the Rue Buffa!! |

Prices are based on two persons for the rental only. The hire of linens and towels are an addtional 40 euros per person. For each additional guest there will be an extra fixed charge of 40 Euros.
We require an initial deposit of 30% of the rental price to secure a reservation. The final 70% is required to be cleared into our account 8 weeks before arrival. We also require an addition 50% security deposit to be cleared before the rental commences.
