About the home

The apartment is set within one of the main squares in Nice, Place Massena. This attractive Plaza is set at the southern end of Avenue Jean Medicine, one of the city's major arteries. The new tram system connects Massena with the train station.

The apartment is in the heart of the city's fashion district. Rue Paradis is a few minutes away by foot and hosts Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Emporio Armani and Hermes amongst others. Rue Massena, Rue de Libertie and Rue Alfonse Karr are also close by and have speciality shops alongside beautiful restaurants.
A short stroll across the Square takes you to the Promenade / Beach. The Palm Trees are visible from Massena itself, just beyond the fountains.

The apartment is 6 minutes by foot to the Bus Station (Gare Routier) where you can catch a but to Monaco, Villefranche, Eze Village, Grasse, Cannes etc all for 1 Euro.

The Riviera Apartment of Nice is a 35m2 Studio set in the heart of Nice at Place Massena. It is a 5 minute walk from the Beach and the Old Town - Cours Saleya and set amongst the best Bars, Restaurant and Shopping.
The flat is modern, spacious and tastefully furnished and comes complete with TV, DVD Player (with a selection of DVDs), Broadband Internet Access and an I-Pod Docking Station. There is a Safety Deposit Box for your security. A separate kitchen combines Washing Machine, Fridge, 2 ring Hob and Microwave Oven and Espresso Maker.
The Bathroom is new and modern and has both Bath & Shower. All linens, towels and beach towels come supplied. There is also a hairdryer and straightening irons.
Please note that the apartment is Strictly Non-Smoking.

Studio set within safe secure building with concierge. Central Nice at Place Massena is busy all day and night although there is no street noise into the apartment. it is a safe place that can be enjoyed by old and young alike and has great transport links right outside the door. The new tram system runs a few hundred yards away and bus and train stations are nearby for links to Cannes, Monaco, St Tropez and all Ski Resorts (Buses in the Alpes Maritimes are 1 Euro per ride) even to Isola 2000 - the nearest ski resort.

Nice is the 5th largest ciy in France and acts as a magnet attracting people from all over the world for a multitude of reasons. Not only renowned for it's grace, Nice has become a hub for research in industry, science and advanced technology.

Both elegant and simple, Nice's charm comes from it's exceptional climate as well as its beauty. Even in the winter the cafe terraces are filled with people relaxing and admiring the ultra famous Promenade des Anglais. Always in flower this wonderful walk follows along the bay, looking out onto the Baie des Anges and the beaches, and on the other side luxury hotels and Restaurants.
The architecture of Nice can be astonishing with the wild exaggerations of the Belle Epoque style or the Baroque influenced houses and mansions on the hills of Mont Boron. Fabulous creations have been realized in the floral gardens and parks of the hills of the Chateau, the Chambrun park or the Espace Massena.
The only way to get to know the real Nice is by strolling through the ochre coloured streets listening to the 'Nicois' speaking their own language and by tasting their savoury cooking. You really shouldn't miss the onion, anchovy and olive tarts called Pissaladieres, the salad and tuna sandwiches known as Pan Bagnat or the Salad Nicois and also the Chick Pea creation called Socca.
Nice is very much a city of art and culture and after Paris has the most museums in France. The city is animated at night as well as in the day. Each day on the Cours Saleya there is the great flower market where you can also buy fruit and vegetables in the mornings. Each quarter in Nice is alive with markets, boutiques and restaurants making the whole city a lively place to visit.

“Another enjoyable stay” This was our second visit to the apartment. The apartment is well situated, close to shops, restaurants, the old town, the beach, trams and bus station. The apartment is well appointed with a small kitchen, bathroom and living/sleeping area. It has a balcony where you can sit out and watch the antics of the drivers. The apartment now has air conditioning which is a bonus. Jacqueline and Iain are very pleasant hosts and arranging access to the property and leaving the property could not have been easier. Nice itself is very pleasant, we spent the days lazing by the coast and the evenings walking along the promenade and round the harbour area. All in all very relaxing, just what was required. We certainly hope to return again soon.

“I wish I lived here!” My partner and I booked a last minute seven day trip to Nice and found this apartment via Google ... What a find!! A fabulous apartment for two right on the edge of "Old Nice", close to excellent restaurants, good bars, fabulous shopping (Galeries Lafayette 2 minutes walk!), a beautiful park, and 10-15 minutes walk through the old quarter of Nice brings you to the wonderful Cours Saleya market and restaurants area, and just one minute away is the stylish Promenade Anglais and the wonderful beaches of the resort. The owner Jacqui is a lovely Scots lady who was so helpful with lots of information prior to our visit and personally welcomed us to the apartment. Everything you could wish for is there. We hope to be back! A very big thank you Jacqui from Alan & Jeanette x

The Acchiardo, 38 Rue Droitte, the Cote Marais on Rue du Pontin and La Merenda on Raoul Bosio - all in the old town, the food was great. Also loved the 1 Euro bus trips we took to Grasse, Cannes, Monaco, Eze, St Paul de Vence, the Rothchild Villa and Villa Kerylos in St Jean Cap Ferrat.
