Nice is a beautiful place in fact the whole french riviera is something really special. Its simply geographically the best place on earth,
Nice is really a perfect place to vacation. The food is wonderful; there is both French and Italian food available. If you are wanting a central place to stay on the French Riviera, Nice is the place. You can go to Monte Carlo for lunch and Cannes for dinner--without having to pay the high hotel costs in either place. The perfect day in Nice is spent on the beach. You can rent a beach bed, towel, and umbrella for a pretty reasonable rate. From your view of the beautiful ocean, you can have food and drinks brought right to you (even if you don't speak French). The water is always perfect and the weather is neither too hot or too cold.
