"Great place to stay with family"
Apartment is comfortable, clean, has all you need. The owners are very helpful and nice people. All utensils and linens are included. TV, games, movies, wifi, etc. Restaurants and bakeries are close by. The only thing is that you need to be aware that the deposit of 200 euros is not returned to you in its entirety. It is in fine print, we never saw it in the main page where we reserved. The owners keep 130 for the cleaning lady to clean apt. and wash linens. It is always 130, even if you leave the apt. clean. Your return is 70 euros. It is better to give the deposit cash so that the owners can return on the spot when you leave. They are honest people, you can trust that you will get 70 euros back. It was a very nice stay. We hope to see Rommelyn and her husband again in a next visit. TIP: If you are flying from Nice to Paris, and you are American, never NEVER go on EasyJet, they charge you even for luggage that can go in the plane compartments. We were charged not once, but four times for 4 bags that easily fitted in the overhead bins in every plane we flew...except for Easy Jet. The lady said she did not like Americans...so just beware.
Thank you so much for the review. Just want to clarify about our additional charges; we normally put our additional charges at the bottom of our prices. We usually ask a professional cleaner to clean the whole apartment and prepare the the beddings set up for the guests. Since the rate of cleaning is not included on the rental rate. Our rental rates includes the use of the whole premises; amenities; cleaning supplies like washing tablets, water and electricity. You will enjoy everything in the apartment and live like a local in Nice. On the other hand; every time we have guests our professional cleaner come and clean the whole apartment and prepare everything including washing and ironing of linens. We want the money to be paid directly to our cleaner by Cash. For 4 guests we usually charge 130euros but for 4-5 guests we also have added prices. Comments about easyjet and other small carrier like Norwegian air they are pretty small. They are really cheap but only allowed handcarried luggages for free and if you have a large baggages they will really charge you quite a lot. Taking train is also an option but you will have a long trip and also paid quite a lot of money. So it is really a matter of choice and what will work for the best. For our guests who stayed in the apartment we really appreciate them that they always left the premises in the same standard as when they checked in; otherwise if there are some damages incurred then we will deduct it from the damage deposit. We are lenient about check out time only if we do not have guests on the same day then we will allow our guests stay longer time free of charge..
