Our apartment welcomes everyone who walks through the door. It has a spacious feel (floor space635sq.m.) and has a north and a south facing balcony.

It has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower, with an open plan lounge/kitchen area. The open plan lounge/kitchen area is light and airy with the original parquet flooring. A superior quality sofa, a dining table with 4 chairs, a sideboard and TV for entertainment.
With both balconies you can enjoy your breakfast on the South facing balcony (the sun awning is always there to give you shade) and watch the ships/boats sail by, then in the evening watch the sun dip behind the hills with drinks on the North balcony with a bird's eye view of the streets of Nice.
There are two bedrooms each has a double bed and wardrobes with plenty of hanging space. There is a separate toilet/ shower as well as a bathroom, the bath has a mixer tap to permit either a bath or shower to be taken.
There is a security entry phone system providing access into the building with an elevator to take you to the 5th floor. There is a resident concierge and the building/grounds are very well maintained.

The apartment is lovely, on the 5th floor with views from both balconies, surprisingly quiet and very comfortable.
It has two entrances - one takes you from the Promenade des Anglais through private gardens, situated between the Palais de la Mediterranee and the famous Negresco Hotel.
The second entrance/exit is to the Rue de France, where a 10 minute walk through pretty, bustling streets takes you to Place de Massena, a pedestrian precinct, with lots of bars, cafes and open air restaurants, as well as street entertainment.
For those wishing to rent a car, a local car park is available to use. The rates are reasonable.
An English speaking agent will welcome you into the apartment and answer any questions.
For arrivals after 8pm, there is a late arrival fee of 10E per hour.

Refundable breakages deposit of £200 sterling is required, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
Nice has one of the most famous coastlines on the Cote d'Azur, the Baie des Angles. Surrounded by hills and mountains, Nice has a wonderful climate all year round.
There is a superb selection of local shops, patisseries and small supermarkets nearby. It is just a few minutes walk to the Promenade des Anglais, and several private beaches where a sun bed and parasol can be hired on a daily basis - there are also public beaches.
Public transport is easy and reasonably priced (especially for OAPs!). A good bus services to all the hill and coastline resorts. Car hire is reasonable and there is a covered public car park just by the entrance from the Promenade des Anglais, convenient but not cheap!
Just beyond Place de Massena, the Old Town is a maze of narrow streets, squares, little restaurants and fascinating shops. Visits to the Antiques Market (Monday) and the weekday flower and vegetable markets are not to be missed. The Nice Carnival in February is spectacular, as is the summer Jazz festival.
The Nice / Promenade des Anglais area
Nice is a warm, vibrant and fascinating city with everything to offer the visitor with its beaches, restaurants, art galleries, night life and museums.
There are so many other resorts within easy reach of Nice - Antibes, Cannes, Monte Carlo and Menton whilst a trip to the Italian border town of Ventimiglia is well worth a visit for the extensive street market on a Friday.
Trips inland could include St Paul de Vence, Grasse and the many enchanting hill top villages. The single track railway journey up into the mountains from the Gare de Provence is not be missed.

By plane, train or road.
Your transfer from Nice airport couldn't be easier - simply take the regular direct Express bus service (No 98) and hop off along the Promenade de Anglais, just outside the Negresco Hotel and from there, it is a very short walk to the apartment.
Journey time about 25 minutes - cost 4 Euro. Taxis are always available and cost about 30 Euro.

This was the 1st time we have travelled to France by train.
The appartment is only 5minutes by taxi from the station & within 10 minutes walking distance. it is also only a local bus ride to/from the airport.
It is bright & airy & you feel as if your on holiday as soon as you walk in.
It is in a fantastic location, 2 minutes from the beach one way & two minutes to the lively restaurant areas in the other direction. We really enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend it.

This apartment was the answer to all our hopes. Great location, great lay out - plenty of room with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms.
