Home description
Parvis de la mer is a newly built apartment block situated just 200m from the famous Promenade des Anglais and beach. In addition to beach restaurants, there is a range of shops and amenities within the immediate area including supermarket, baker, chemist, newsagent bar etc. The bus stops conveniently outside the building for Nice centre, old town and port, and provides an alternative to the walk along the seafront.
The apartment is built on two floors and the views of the bay are enhanced by the 6th floor position (access by lift or stairs). The entrance hall leads into an open plan kitchen /diner , which then leads onto a sunny balcony with table for dining and sea views.The well equipped kitchen contains a fridge,dishwasher ,washing machine and coffee maker.Also on this level is the master bedroom with its own balcony, bathroom and separate wc.
The second bedroom with twin beds is on a mezzanine level and also has its own bathroom, with shower and wc.
There is air conditioning throughout the apartment.

The Cours Salaya has a daily flower market and many restaurants.The Chagall museum set in the hills above Nice in Cimiez is well worth a visit; the Matisse museum is nearby.The contemporary art museum is in the centre of Nice. Designer shopping for clothes in the centre ,near Rue de France.
Beaches stretch along the coastline some public and therefor free or private where beach towels and loungers can be hired on a daily rate.Beach cafes serving fresh fish and plat du jour abound.The port in Nice is spectacular with grand yachts and fishing boats; surrounded by restaurants; daily boating trips to San Tropez and destinations along the Cote D'Azur available.
The Belle Epoque Negresco Hotel is on the promenade des Anglais .
The town and surrounding areas are well served by bus and train and the newly opened tram line.
How to get there
Low cost airlines including Easyjet, Jet 2 ,BMIBaby and Ryanair all fly to and from Nice International Airport, in addition to some of the national carriers e.g. BA. Air france The airport is 5km from the apartment and on a direct bus route (15mins).

The apartment was clean and comfortable and only 3 mins from the beach! We had a few lazy lunches at the beach restaurants. House wine in caraffes is great value!! A great time thanks.
Nice is a brilliant place . Loads of bars, restaurants and things to do.Try the Cours Saleya, a market during the day and lively spot for eating and drinking at night.They even have a fantastic brand new tram system.
