Superb location, 5 mins walk to the beach and old town. The Port is full of charm and character with a choice of local restaurants to choose from. Parking is avaliable in the port.Only 10 mins walk from the Promenade des Anglais where you will find fantasic shops and even restaurants on the beach.
Our Nice apartment is designed for those who appreciate something unique. We have made no economies or short-cuts and believe that we have thought of everything to make your holiday thoroughly enjoyable. We have taken the time to ensure that we provide our visitors with an elegant, comprehensively-equipped apartment.
This beautiful luxury apartment is bright and spacious and has recently (in 2007) been stylishly and tastefully renovated and refurnished. It successfully combines all its original features, with all the comforts of modern living, including air conditioning, underfloor heating (for the winter) double-glazing together with a fully equipped modern kitchen, luxury bathroom and shower suites and a full home entertainment centre.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
Nice is a perfect base to visit the principal areas of the South of France such as Villefranche, Cannes, St Tropez and the principality of Monaco; the Italian Riviera is also within easy reach. Its proximity to the airport and the ease of travel to and from it make Nice itself a great place to stay. As Nice is the fifth largest city in France, its location on the French Riviera makes it a magnet for people from far and wide. As you would expect in a city of such renown there are many excellent speciality shops, art galleries, designer shops and boutiques and famous museums not to mention the many local patisseries serving fresh bread and pastries daily. The wonderfully sunny, warm climate makes Nice an enchanting place for a holiday at any time of the year.
Nice / Port of Nice area
The Promenade des Anglais is the place on the Cote d'Azur to see and be seen whether you are walking, jogging, skating or cycling; you can even eat in one of the many restaurants on the beach. In the summer months (and even on a warm winter's day) acquiring and topping up a tan are favourite pursuits on Nice's well-kept beaches.
A stroll around Nice will open your eyes to the amazing variety of goods on offer in the markets and the tempting choice of delicious food displayed in the shops and restaurants. Salade Nicoise, Pan Bagnat and Pissaladiere are just some of the specialities that are a must to try. The flower market in Cours Seleya is a vibrant place to be in the mornings; here you can buy local produce or just feast your eyes on the wonderful flowers.
From the port you can take the ferry to Corsica or a boat trip across the Bay of Angels to Cannes and on to St Tropez for lunch - the only chic way to arrive in St Tropez, and in any case, going by road takes hours!
The narrow, picturesque and fascinating streets, the old churches and ancient buildings of the Old Town (Vieux Nice), and the trendy boutiques and specialist shops in the town's pedestrian areas are not to be missed. The beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains, the classic 18th century Place Garibaldi and all the other ornamental garden squares are a delight.
If you love to laze on the beach there are more than a dozen to choose from and several have the unabashed luxury of waiter service and exotic restaurants at the water's edge. For the more active, every water-sport is available.
If it's the nightlife, clubs and casinos you're after there are plenty of those, too.
Nice must have more than a thousand enticing pavement cafes, restaurants, brasseries, bars and bistros each with its very own unique atmosphere, ambience and gastronomic treats and you will certainly have great fun in discovering your own favourites! In our Nice apartment you will find a list of our own recommendations - and most of them are irresistibly inexpensive. The glorious climate throughout the whole year is exactly what you would expect on the warm and sunny Cote d'Azur. Testament to this is the fact that since 1873 Nice has been celebrating its joyful and exuberant Parade and Battle of the Flowers; the dazzlingly splendid Mardi Gras Carnival processions go on for more than 2 weeks every year in February! All the carnival routes are close to our Nice apartment.
