Home descriptionThis two room, modern, luxury apartment includes an entrance hall, sitting room with comfortable convertible double sleeping couch, tv, dvd, internet connection, dining table which seats 6, and balcony for people watching while sipping an apertif. The kitchen is equipped with ceramic hob/cooker plaque, dishwasher, clothes washer, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, breakfast counter. The bedroom is very comfortable with its firm double mattress, built in closet, and small balcony just right for a nightcap. There are 2 bathrooms, one with toilet and sink, the other with bathtub and sink.

It has an ideal climate for summer recreational activities and very pleasant winter temperatures which have traditionally attracted the British to winter here, and the Russian czars even before them. Monte Carlo is famous for its Formula 1 race at the end of May, its Casino, night life, and numerous festivals and musical events throughout the summer months. Grasse is the centre of perfume making along the coast, the Provence area which includes Aix-en-Provence, Arles, and Avignon is famous for the impressionist painters who worked there during the 19th and 20th centuries and there are always many visitors to the lavendar fields and wine making establishments. Perpignan and Carcasson are the most southern points and offer canal trips by barge, as well as horse-back riding through the suggestive countryside. Water sports include canyoning and rafting in the grand canyon of Verdon or Roya valley, sea exploration and diving from the Quai Lunel - Port of Nice, excursions by boat departing from Villefranche or Nice to Monaco, Villefranche, Cannes, and St: Tropez.. There are also numerous tours and guided visits to the small, charming medieval towns of Eze, perched high above the sea, Grasse famous for its perfume factories, Tourettes, the city of the violets, Saint Paul, magnificent medieval village full of artisan workshops and art galleries not to mention Biot renowned place for its glass blowers, Vallauris, the city of ceramics where Picasso created the fresco "War and Peace" and St. Jean Cap Ferrat with its historic Ephrussi de Rothschild villa and gardens. No excessive noise is allowed after 11pm which means no loud parties or music after that hour. I will meet you at the apartment upon your arrival to show you around and again to check you out when you leave so as to be able to return your security deposit if there is no damage to the apartment or its contents. I will be available very close by if needed and can come to your rescue in case of an emergency. ConditionsBookings are made by your email request for a period which is indicated on the calendar to be unrented. I to will reply to your request with availability status and upon receipt of my reply, you must indicate whether or not you would like to reserve the apartment for the period you have requested. When I receive your affirmative response I email you the booking form which you must print out, fill in and fax back to me. When I receive your booking form, I will send you a confirmative email with instructions for payment of the 20% booking fee which is part of the rent. The remainder of rent will be due 8 weeks before your arrival date. You must then keep me informed of your exact arrival time, and if you would like to take advantage of our airport pick-up service. NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion. A security deposit of 300 Euros is required and will be refunded at the end of your stay provided no damage is done to the apartment or its contents. Bookings for rental stays are made by booking form which is emailed to you when you decide to make a reservation. When you return the completed form, you will receive instructions for payment of the 20% non-refundable booking fee. This amount is then deducted from your total weekly cost and the balance of payment is due 8 weeks in advance of the rental period. Both booking fees and rent are payable by direct bank transfer.
