About the home

A modern and very high quality 2 bedroom apartment in the prestigious development of Le Palais de Mediterranee hotel and Casino. This 4th floor apartment is of the highest quality - with marble floors and hardwood floors throughout. On entry there is a hallway leading to a fully equipped kitchen (including hob, oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher). The living room has a dining table and 6 chairs; a very comfortable double sofa/bed and 2nd sofa, flat screen TV with Sky satellite service (english channels BBC, Sky news CNN), a DVD player and CD player and is very tastefully decorated. The living room opens up onto a large terrace (approx 15msq) with wooden table and chairs (perfect for outdoor dining) - the terrace is south facing on to a courtyard and garden and quiet. The master bedroom has a king size double bed and storage cupboards. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size double bed and storage cupboards. The living room and two bedrooms all open directly on to the terrace. The bathroom has a bath with stand-in bath shower and there is also a 2nd independent toilet of the hallway. A hairdryer is also provided. There is a telephone for incoming and emergency outgoing calls and WiFi Internet service. There is air-conditioning throughout. The development is part of the same development as the hotel Palais de Mediterranee and there is direct access through the hotel to the world famous Promenade des Anglais and the beach. This is a luxurious development and very secure - with 24 hour gardienage - this would make an ideal base for a family looking for a quality apartment in a great location.

To the west, Cannes is just 25 minutes away on the train, and just an hour from St Tropez. To the East, Monte Carlo is a 25 minute train journey away. It is only around 65 minutes to the Val D'Isere ski resort on the Italian border.

The apartment itself is just great in every way, - and the location is perfect; close to the promenade, the shopping streets and the Old Town. The Go-Nice agency that looks after you in Nice is very organized and has many years experience of organizing holiday rentals - they have a contract with Nice airport (or a central hotel near Nice train station if arriving by car or train) collecting keys is very simple and efficient - you can arrive any time of day to 12 midnight (everyday) - simply show your passport at desk and keys will be issued - no waiting around trying to meet people or worrying about delays - there is no charge for this service and no extra charge for late arrivals or Sundays.

On booking full key collection details and directions are sent - Payment is by credit card - Go-Nice has an office in central Nice at 11 rue du Congres which also gives you reassurance that there is someone available in emergencies or any everyday questions.
