Nice is a fantastic location and is universally known as the Queen of the Riveria with a superb climate, lovely restaurants (reasonably priced) and nice shops. Perfect location for exploring the Cote D'Azur. Excellent train and buses (very reasonably priced) serve renown locations such a Monaco, Ventimilia Italy, Cannes. Nearest ski resort just 1 hour away.
Nice / Nice Centre area
Walk the famous Promenade des Anglais in the early morning, relax with a coffee in a cosy café and lunch at any of the numerous beach restaurants. Take a bus to the beautiful historic towns of Vence or St Paul. Soak in the nightly atmosphere of the old town and visit one of the numerous restaurants. At the entrance to the old town you have the famous Le Cours Saleya- Every morning (except Mondays which are reserved for the antiques market) you will find the fruit and vegetable market and, throughout the day, the famous flower market. The numerous restaurants and boutiques add an extra touch of liveliness. There are scores of stands, from large, professionally displayed wares to folding tables set up by family farmers overflowing with their produce.
Take a 20 min trip from the local railway station to Monaco or go in the opposite direction on a 20 min trip to Cannes. Visit the numerous museums. Enjoy festivals all year round such as the famous flower festival and the jazz festival.
How to get there
Easyjet Budget Airline and Aer Lingus both operate regular flights to Nice. Both regularly offer special discount fares. Easyjet fly from a number of UK airports. Likewise Aer Lingus operates from Dublin. Nice airport only 10 mins away by taxi or 20 mins by regular bus.

Further details indoors: This stylish modern apartment is located in a quiet block which is served by an elevator. The very extensive double glazed windows (which when fully opened create an open air atmosphere throughout the apartment) offer a pleasant view of the attractive road junction where Avenue Shakespeare and rue Frederick Passy intersect. The latter coupled with the fine lofty ceilings and the attractive open plan layout make for a nice sunny living space. The new American style kitchen (which opens on to the living area) is fully equipped with electric powered cooker, hot plates, dish washer, washing machine and micro wave oven. The lovely Italian tiled bathroom is spacious and equipped with an attractive corner bath and bidot. Air conditioning fans are provided for use when considered necessary but a pleasant cool and airy breese can quickly be introduced by opening any of the large double glazed windows.The attractive ceramic tiled floors also contribute to keeping the apartment cool during the hot summer months.
Further details outdoors: The apartment is located in a pleasant quiet residential district just 2 mins walk from Blvd Gambetta which has a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and the charming Park Alsasse Lorraine. There is limited free parking in the district and there is a multi storied car park within 1minutes walk. Plenty of pay street parking which of course is free at lunch time, overnight and for the entire weekend.

Conditions
A €200 deposit (per week booked) is payable to reserve the apartment and the balance of the rent is payable prior to 8 weeks of arrival. When bookings are made within 2 months of arrival date, the full amount is payable immediately. There are no hidden extras. Guests are responsible for leaving the apartment in a clean rentable condition. A €200 breakages deposit is also payable in advance, which will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure subject to there being no damage or a deduction in respect thereof, the apartment being left clean and keys returned to agent. The booking deposit is non refundable and Guests are advised to arrange appropriate holiday insurance which provides cover for cancellation/curtailment. You will be met at the apartment upon arrival and checked out upon departure.
