No need to hire a car, this apartment is a short (cheap) bus ride away and everything is accesible by foot, including the busses and the train station to go further afield.

There is the Carnival in February, The Jazz Festival in July, and with Cannes - think Film Festival - and Monte Carlo - Casino, Formula 1- just 15 to 30 minutes away by train or car it is and ideal location with which to explore the South of France.

How to get there

Fly to Nice airport and then take the number 98 airport bus and get off at Gambetta for 4.50 euros. You can also get the no. 23 bus and get off at Bottero for 1.00 euros - about 45 minutes. This bus is slower and much more crowded. The Apartment is 5 minutes walk from both bus stops. Alternatively get a taxi - it is a 10 minute ride to the apartment - cost around 30 euros.
