About the home

A lovely bright and airy south facing 1 bedroom corner apartment, perfectly situated just off the Rue de France, only 200metres from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais.

The apartment is in a great central location with bars restaurants bakers and supermarket in the doorstep. It is a 10/15min walk along the promenade to the old town and Cours Saleya where flower and vegetable markets are held every day. (Why not rollerblade or cycle along in the morning for your fresh pasta and olives.)

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (with access by lift)
It has an open plan kitchen and living area with a breakfast bar and seating for 4. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, cooker hob and microwave oven. The lounge sofas can convert into a king-sized and 2 single beds. It has a t.v. dvd player and stereo system.

The bedroom is well furnished with king sized bed, bedside tables and lots of wardrobe space. There is a spacious shower room with w.c. bidet, washroom basin (vanity unit) and shower cubicle.

There is no washing machine in the apartment, but there is a laundrette situated two blocks east on the Rue de France.

“Great secure location” I stayed in Vanina on three occasions - twice at the end of June beginning of July and once in October. It was a hit every time. The location is fabulous - close to the promenade yet away from main road traffic. The Old Town is a very managable 15 minute walk away. The airport bus is around the corner. The apartment itself is perfect and is like being at home away from home - everything needed is at hand. I was especially taken by the rather private balcony - an eye to the world and a sun trap during the day. I always found the apartment to be spotless and well cared for - the TV, DVD and CD players excellent additions especially when I took my niece on one trip. Having spent two occasions on my own I valued the secure feel of the apartment itself and the block as a whole. All shops required are minutes away. I wil definately return there on my next visit to Nice.

“very convenient, spacious clean flat” Lovely spacious flat, security entrance. Close to the beach and local ammenities, good bus service within walking distance. Train station approx 15 - 20 minute walk away. Great base for exploring the area and going to the F1 grand prix. Owner very helpful and prompt answering e-mails and text messages.

“perfect location” Apartment Vanina is in a secure,gated,small block and ideally sitauted 3 minutes walk from Promenade with its beaches and restaurants.The airport bus stops just around the corner as do all buses to local areas.The apartment is like a home away from home: every convenience you could hope for.The balcony is a sun-trap and you could sit there all day but the lure of local bars and restaurants minutes away is sometimes too much of a temptation!! I have enjoyed the freedom that the apartment and all its facilities has to offer so much that i have booked my 4th visit for July this year.My 16 year old niece loved the apartment and its location so much that she is coming back with me this year...beaches,bars,restaurants and fantastic supermarket almost on your doorstep...what more could you ask for?

“My no.1 choice when staying in Nice” I just loved the place. We spent a week in Nice with my girlfriends - 3 of us. Perfect location - just 5 min walking from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais. Nice and very comfy, situated in a quiet street. I felt like at home. Everything at our disposal - even beach umbrella and things to lie on. Very good communication with the owner. We were able to arrange everything 3 weeks before we went on a holiday. Reasonable price. I would definitely rent this apartment again if I chose to spent some time in Nice again.

“Clean, bright apartment close to the beach” The apartment was as advertised and was in a good location, close to restaurants, shops and the beach. We were glad there were DVD's provided and a stereo as a well as a fan to keep us cool when we stayed indoors. The information folder in the apartment was also helpful as it directed us to a well stocked grocery store. We liked the beaches in Nice but preferred the sandy beaches which Cannes had to offer. We took a bus there from the center of town and it only cost one euro each way!

“Excellent place to stay” Easily accessible from airport bus-stop. Its a very nicely equipped flat in a pleasant location. It is quiet and secluded yet is still close to shops and bus routes. Within a few minutes of arriving you can have the fridge stocked, sit on the balcony having freshly cooked bread, munching cheese and sipping the first glass of wine. Restaurants are a short walk round the corner, as is the bus stop with frequent routes to everywhere. The old town and harbour are just a very pleasant stroll along the Promenade. Taxis are just not necessary - the bus system is so good. The flat is very clean and freshly decorated. It has everything one needs for a holiday stay and more. I really could not fault it, it`s an apartment I`d be very pleased to own in Nice and will certainly return The owner gives very comprehensive directions to get there and well thought-out suggestions as to what to do when in Nice and just how to do it. Excellent, all round!

“The advertisment said location perfectly situated, well it was fantastically situated.” The appartment lived up to all expectations, just one block back from the sea, near the Elysees Palace Hotel, and a very pleasent walk down the Rue de France to the Place de Messena only 20 mins at a stroll pace. Supermarkets very close, and excellent Resturants on the Rue de France. The appartment is a very good layout, with an entrance hall that the other rooms lead off. Bigger than expected and very light and airy. Will be going back again.

“Great location” The apartment is perfectly located only one street away from the beach front and right next to Rue de France with great resaturants and shops. The apartment was clean, tidy and well eqipped with a balcony perfect for having cappuccinos and croissants from the boulangerie just around the corner. We also stayed in the same apartment in 2007 and enjoyed taking advantage of the bars on Rue de France and also the resturants in the Old Town (Chez Juliette is fabulous). There's a fab salsa club a couple of minutes away, with yummy mojitos and great music. This time we returned with two babies. There was plenty of room for all four of us and we really appreciated having the option of self-catering. There is a bus stop around the corner which takes you qickly to the train station, making outings to Moncao or Antibes a breeze, even with children. We can highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning to stay in Nice, and we hope to be back again soon.

“great apartment” Stayed in Vanina apartment in June. lovely light and clean. everything you need for a perfect holiday. near beach.Owner very helpful and made booking nice and easy. weather was beautiful in June and Nice is a fabulous place to be. The travel system is very cheap so easy to get round surrounding areas.

“Excellent.” The Vanina Apartments were only a short walk from the fabulous beach. The entry to the building was secure and in a quiet street. Access to the apartment was via a lift. The apartment was clean, tidy and very well equipped. The dishwasher was used alot. The balcony overlooked the street but his was quiet and secluded. Apartment had all the mod cons. A large double bedroom with plenty of storage space. There was also a comfy kingsize sofa bed and single sofa in the lounge. All very clean and practical. I would definately recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Nice, eithr near the beach or the main town. Perfect plce.
