Home description
The apartment is on the fourth floor of a new prestigious building, accessed by lift or stairs. The ample entrance hall leads to a large sitting-room/dining-room, 2 en suite bedrooms and a fully equipped fitted kitchen. All the main rooms have access to a balcony, either at the front or rear of the apartment.
There is air-conditioning and central heating throughout. The hall and sitting room have marble floors; the bedrooms have wooden floors and the kitchen, bathrooms and balconies are tiled.
The gated-grounds have landscaped gardens with mature trees and private parking. The shared swimming pool is child secure. A private underpass leads straight from the gardens to the beach.
Cagnes-sur-Mer lies between Nice and Antibes. Transport links are excellent and visitors are ideally positioned to explore the whole of the Riviera from this base.

Nice / Cagnes Sur Mer area
Cagnes-sur-Mer comprises three main areas:- the old fishing port of Cros-de-Cagnes, with shops and restaurants within an easy walk of the apartment, the town centre, and the ancient village perché of Haut-de-Cagnes, with its castle and steep narrow streets. The race-course, the Hippodrome de la Cote D'Azur, lies at the far end of the newly laid-out promenades along the sea front. Cagnes is known as the town of the painters, where many famous impressionists and other artists worked; the Musee Renoir is located in the artist's house on a hillside near the old town.
How to get there
The airport at Nice is just 3km from the apartment and is served by all well-known airlines. Almost all of the low-cost airlines currently operating in Europe fly to Nice including EasyJet, Jet2 and Ryan Air.
The nearest railway statio, Cros de Cagnes, is 0.5km away.
Bus services to Nice, Cannes, Grasse etc are 0.2km away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at San Marco in July 2007. The apartment was perfect for us & our 18 month old boy.
It is extremely well equipped with all the latest mod cons & the interior design is also very modern and appealing. The main balcony is a good size & offers nice views of the pool & out to the sea in the distance. The swimming pool is very nice, it gets quite busy in the afternoons, but it is clean & very refreshing.
We found the location of the apartment excellent. An easy stroll to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, train station etc, & it is a great base for exploring the region.
The team at French Riviera Xpress were excellent and easy to deal with & we had no problems at all with booking, paying, arranging pick ups etc.
We would love to come back & stay in this apartment again & highly recommend it. Perfect for a small family or a couple wanting the extra space. ROSE FAMILY - DUBAI, UAE
