Home description
The apartment is on the fourth floor of a new prestigious building, accessed by lift or stairs. The ample entrance hall leads to a large sitting-room/dining-room, 2 en suite bedrooms (1 x double, 1 x twin), and a fully equipped fitted kitchen. All the main rooms have access to a balcony, either at the front or rear of the apartment.
There is air-conditioning and central heating throughout. The hall and sitting room have marble floors; the bedrooms have wooden floors and the kitchen, bathrooms and balconies are tiled.
On the front balcony there is a table with 6 chairs for al fresco dining, overlooking the gardens and pool, and has a wonderful sea view.
The gated-grounds have landscaped gardens with mature trees and private parking. The shared swimming pool is child secure. A private underpass leads straight from the gardens to the beach.
Cagnes-sur-Mer lies between Nice and Antibes. Transport links are excellent and visitors are ideally positioned to explore the whole of the Riviera from this base.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
From the Italian Riviera in the east to St. Tropez in the west, so many famous coastal resorts welcome the visitor:- Menton, Monaco, Nice, Antibes, Cannes, St Raphael are all within easy travelling distance. Inland, Grasse, St Paul, Vence, Mougins and the Gorges du Verdon and the Parc National du Mercantour provide spectacular access to the southern Alps
Nice / Cagnes Sur Mer area
Cagnes-sur-Mer comprises three main areas:- the old fishing port of Cros-de-Cagnes, with shops and restaurants within an easy walk of the apartment, the town centre, and the ancient village perché of Haut-de-Cagnes, with its castle and steep narrow streets. The race-course, the Hippodrome de la Cote D'Azur, lies at the far end of the newly laid-out promenades along the sea front. Cagnes is known as the town of the painters, where many famous impressionists and other artists worked; the Musee Renoir is located in the artist's house on a hillside near the old town.
EVENTS 2010 (within easy reach of the apartment)
13th February - 1st March: Nice Carnival. For two weeks the Carnival attracts visitors from around the world to the Riviera for parades, fireworks, theatre performances, live music, and DJ shows.
People converge on Nice for the Carnival to watch the flower parade and dance in the streets. Visitors can also enjoy watching the parade floats with their wacky large-headed papier mache characters.
Most of the Carnival festivities take place on the Promenade des Anglais, which runs along the waterfront.
Jump on a bus (just 1€uro each way/per person) and go and party!
1st & 2nd May 2010: Monaco Grand Prix The Monaco Grand Prix (French: Grand Prix de Monaco) is held each year on the Circuit de Monaco.
Considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (with which it forms the Triple Crown of Motorsport).
The history, spectacle and glamour result in the race being considered "the jewel of the Formula One crown".
The best way to reach the Grand Prix is by rail, straight from Cagnes sur Mer into Monaco.
12th - 23rd May: The Festival de Cannes This is the world's oldest, most influential and prestigious film festival. A great place to spot your favourite movie stats!

The airport at Nice is just 3km from the apartment and is served by all well-known airlines. Almost all of the low-cost airlines currently operating in Europe fly to Nice including EasyJet, Jet2 and Ryan Air.

I just wanted to let you know that we had an absolutely brillant holiday! The apartment was beautiful and in an excellent location. The handovers were easy and flexible. Thanks so much C. Fulton, UK **** It is extremely well equipped with all the latest mod cons & the interior design is also very modern and appealing. The main balcony is a good size & offers nice views of the pool & out to the sea in the distance. The swimming pool is very nice, it gets quite busy in the afternoons, but it is clean & very refreshing.
We found the location of the apartment excellent. An easy stroll to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, train station etc, & it is a great base for exploring the region. UK Family
