The property is situated in an area of central Nice which has been transformed in recent years with the arrival of the tram and the upgrading of Place Garibaldi.It is situated within 10 mins walk of the Port and the old city. At the same time it is close to shops and all amenities.
The apartment retains much of its original charm and the Art Deco features with high ceilings and parquet flooring which give it a spacious and airy feeling. One balcony faces East and the other West so it it is flooded with light, yet remains cool in Summer due to the cross current of air.

The views from the balconies are stunning. As it is on the sixth and top floor facing the pedestrian street below, the front balcony is totally private and gets the afternoon sun.There is a wind-down awning to give shade. This balcony functions as an extra sun room /dining area.
The building is served by a lift.

The Garibaldi /Acropolis area is fast becoming one of the most desirable areas of Nice as the urban renewal of the last decade has made a huge impact on this quarter of the city. All of Nice's attractions are only a few minutes away , either on foot or by tram-The Port (where the Corsican ferries come in) the Old City, the Place Massena and downtown shopping; and last but not least , the famous Promenade des Anglais. The main restaurant/nightlife area lies in the old city and is only ten minutes walk away.Another useful amenity -literally around the corner- is the Nice Commercial Centre which has about 80 shops and a large Carrefour supermarket.

"Comfortable apartment in good central location."
Apartment was comfortable, clean and in a central location in Nice for access to all transport links and shops. Having east and west balconies ideal either to sit in or avoid sun. Local representativ… More

"Comfortable Airy Great Location"
My partner and I stayed in Nice in March. We had been in Nice before but were unfamiliar with the area around Palais Victor. We were delighted with its location -it is near the Old Port area which is much less touristy than other parts of the city. It is also near Place Garibaldi , which is now a lovely old square where we ate outside . Despite the season the skies were blue.
The apartment itself was great-light and airy with great views of the mountains from the balconies.
It is very well decorated with a great kitchen and bathroom.
We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciated how easy it was to get around-the tram is outside the door, Riquier railway station 5 mins walk away and Velo bikes for hire around the corner. We will be back !
