Nice is the capital of the Côte d’Azur and the greatest resort on the Mediterranean Coast. Its proximity to both Monaco and Italy and the TGV connecting it to Paris has sent Nice’s tourism trade flying. Vieux Nice is exquisite with the Palais Lascaris. The flower market found here is lovely and the surrounding colourful buildings adorned in wrought iron are stunning. The Promenade des Anglais is a gorgeous seaside walk by chic old hotels, the magnificent Opera House, Vieux Nice and up towards the road to the harbour and beyond.
Avenue Jean Medecin was made for people-watching and shopping. The fashionable Cimiez district in the hills is home to the famous Musée Chagall and Musée Matisse. Take a trip up to Colline du Châteauby petite train, for tremendous views over the city.

Apartment exactly as described. It is right in the centre of Nice within walking distance of the beach and the shops, It had everything we needed, a perfectly equipped kitchen and a great sized lounge. Loads of dvds to watchif you fancy a quiet night in the apartment. We spemt a week in the apartment and had everything that we needed. We will definitely be going back. I travelled alone and felt totally safe. The appartment was spacious, easily big enough for three. The owners had thought of everything, so it was easy to prepare meals and keep clean. The appartment is nicely furnished and uncluttered, with art deco features - beautiful parquet floors in the sitting room and bedroom, lovely wooden blinds, and big doors opening onto the street. It has the most comfortable mattress ever!! The sound proofing is excellent, but there is serious road noise from the busy corner location (Alphonse Karr/ Clemenceau) The owners are such a nice couple, friendly and helpful. Nice is a very attractive city, with beautiful buildings virtually everywhere and great shopping, museums and galleries. Great for travelling by train along the coast and into Italy. The 1Euro bus to Cannes etc. is brilliant but stops at all local bus stops, so takes hours! |

Had a great stay in this lovely apartment. Everything is just as described and the owners are very helpful. Fantastic location, handy for the beach, shopping and restaurants with everything within walking distance. Definitely recommend! |
