Villa „La Citronneraie” is a stunning private holiday home located in the green hills directly surrounding the Nice-City-Centre. Because of its location (250 meter / 850 feet above sea level) the detached villa offers spectacular views on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice and the Southern Alps. It is only a 5 minutes drive to the Nice City-Centre and the beach. With all the advantages of the city-centre of Nice nearby you can at the same time enjoy the space and privacy of our 3500 square meter (40000 square feet) property: a private heated pool, a big tropical garden, 2 spectacular outdoor terraces, a 8-persons spa with direct seaview, ...
The luxurious villa features a spacious 65 square meter (700 sq feet) livingroom with big baywindows, a modern Italian kitchen, 7 bedrooms and 6 ensuite bathrooms (accommodating up to 16 persons). Modern facilities include airconditioning, Satelite TV, Wifi-Broadband-internet, DVD, ... Villa „La Citronneraie” is a perfect location for your relaxing holiday, family-gathering or business-event !
Villa „La Citronneraie" is a perfect and central base for trips in the surroundings; famous places on the Cote d'Azur such as Cannes, Antibes and Monaco are within only a 35 km (20 miles) range from the villa !
Also many other places of interest are within a short drive: the Italian border: 35 km (22 miles), San Remo: 55 km (35 miles), St. Tropez: 99 km (64 miles), St. Paul de Vence: 22 km (14 miles), Aix-en-Provence: 175 km (175 miles), Genua: 190 km (115 miles) and Valberg: 85 km (53 miles) a ski-resort in the Southern Alps.
According to the new official rating system for touristic accommodation in France our villa is checked and classified by COFRAC (Comite Francais Accreditation) as a very comfortable 4 star holiday rental.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
When staying on “La Citronneraie” you can combine the advantages of the big city of Nice (beach, luxury shops, excellent restaurants, cultural highlights, busy and cosy evening- and night life, ....) with the advantages of the outside the city-life / “Campagne-life” (a lot of green, big garden, fresh air, …). The Nice city-centre is only a 5 minutes drive from the villa, the beach a few minutes more ! From "La Citronneraie" to the central trainstation Nice it is only 3 kilometers (2 miles). And to the historic Russian Church / neighborhood it is just a 5 minutes drive down the hill. Driving from the villa to the north further uphill and in 5 minutes you can also start walking or cycling in a big forest or tasting the local Nice wine in a great wine-estate (wine castle/chateau) ! From the villa it is approx. a 15 minutes drive to the airport (with next to it Cap3000, a big shopping mall) and to the main A8 Motorway Exit from where you can go easily to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Italy, ....
The Nice / St Pierre de Feric area
Very near the house (walking-distance; about 200 meters / 650 feet) you find a small church with next to it restaurant "Mas des Oliviers" (good food, reasonable prices, cuisine Nicoise, possibilities for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Only 100 meters from the villa there is a busstop with citybusses going directly to the city-centre of Nice.

The holiday-resort Nice is located on the mediteranean Sea in the sunny south of France. It is in the middle of the famous Cote d'Azur region. Nice is very accesible both by car, plane and train:
-by car:
When you come with your own car, Nice is perfectly accessable by the modern French highways. Both from the northern (Lyon / Paris / Brussels/ Amsterdam / Geneva / Cologne / …), as from the eastern (Genua / Milan / Venice / …) as from the western directions (Marseille / Barcelona / Madrid) you can reach Nice directly and easily by motorway.
-by plane:
It is only a 10 minutes drive from the city centre of Nice to the modern airport of Nice. After Paris, Nice International Airport is France busiest airport with a lot of direct connections. From 103 cities you can fly directly to Nice including from most of the European capitals, 20 cities in France but also from big cities outside Europe as New York, Montreal and Dubai. Other nearby airports are Marseille (185 km / 115 miles ), Genova (190 km / 118 miles) and Milano (300 km / 185 miles).
-by train:
France has an extensive network of quick trains, the TGV, „train-de-grande-vitesse”. On several trajects these trains are travelling with a speed of more than 350 km per hour (more than 220 miles an hour).. These quick TGV trains are also arriving at Nice CentralTrain-station ( 3 km/ 2 miles from the villa !) and have a direct connection with cities as Marseille, Lyon, Paris and Brussels !
