We bought this self catering holiday apartment in 2007 and it has been fully renovated. We fell in love with its bright sun terrace that has separate access from living room, kitchen and bedroom. This facilitates some sleeping on in the morning while others can cook breakfast and enjoy the sun!
The terrace is decorated with potted plants to add colour and scent to your experience. Guests always care for these with regular watering!
The bedroom is a bright and airy room with large glass sliding door leading onto the terrace. It has a large double bed with a top quality orthopaedic mattress. The room features air conditioning, warm timber flooring, large double wardrobe, full length mirrors, chest of drawers, bedside locker and,small library and reading lamps. The room also has a TV /DVD player and multiple electrical sockets, which have been fitted with UK adaptors. Bed linen is supplied free. There are extra pillows in the press in the entrance hall.
The living area contains all you would expect in a modern home. It boasts a flat screen TV, phone, a radio/stereo as well as Wifi internet. There are a selection of books, board games, CD's and DVD's to entertain guests during the quieter times. The dining table is easily extendible and can sit six-eight guests.
The living area has a top quality sofa which contains a complete double bed and mattress. In the living area, there is another sofa which converts to a single bed, which can be accommodated in any room of the apartment. The apartment can comfortably accommodate four persons, and can accommodate a fifth with two double beds and one single bed. An iron and ironing board are supplied for the guests convenience.
The new kitchen was fitted. This includes all features you would expect in a quality self catering apartment with ceramic hob, fan oven, extractor fan, washing machine. We have some French recipes in our information pack. Test your French cuisine self catering skills! A full inventory is supplied on arrival to all our guests.
The terrace has a table, two chairs, and two deck chairs for enjoying the sun.
The large bathroom features a deep bath with a shower, bidet and vanity unit, along with lighted mirror, shaving point and lots of storage space. Bath and hand towels are provided for all guests. We provide a range of complimentary toiletries for our guests use.
We provide a full French Riviera holiday tourist information pack for our guests and Marilia will be happy to answer any queries.
Additional shopping, Nice airport pick-up and excursion tours can be prebooked prior to arrival.
The rental apartment is our holiday home and we prefer couples or adult groups as our apartment is not furnished to withstand small children! We have a very good relationship with our neighbours and consequently we do not wish to have guests seeking an "all night party venue".

30% non refundable deposit is required within five days of making the holiday rental booking. The remainder of the payment is due 42 before arrival.
€200 security deposit, paid on arrival, returned on departure subject to satisfactory inspection.
Apartment bookings made within four weeks of arrival require 100% of payment upon booking. . €40 charge per additional person per week for groups of more than two people.
Bed linen and towels are included in these rates.
Extra towels, bed linen and mid stay cleaning can be provided for an additional charge.

Prices for Christmas, Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix on request
Long weekend breaks may be available. Change over days are generally flexible.

Nice is the capital of the Riviera and is a city of culture history and hundreds of interesting places to see. It is an ideal base for seeing other areas such as Cannes and Antibes and St Tropez to the west, Monaco and Italy to the east and inland Provence and the Alps. Or if you prefer just to relax on the 5km beach
If you have the energy, climb the Colline du Chateau and enjoy panoramic views of Nice and the Riviera Coast.
Its often at it best as the evening draws in.
Many visitors take the opportunity to visit the French Alps to walk or hike through its majestic peaks and scenery or spend some time skiing in winter. The Alps are just an hour from our holiday apartment in Nice.

Promenade des Anglais: The long arching Promenade des Anglais is the focal point of Nice, with its spectacular views of the "Bay of Angels". You must stroll down the promenade at least once during your holiday to Nice. Its the perfect place for seeing and been seen!
The ""old town " or Vieux Ville: There is much to see and do in the narrow streeted old town. This area captures the old Italian flavour of Nice. There are a wide selection of bars and restaurants in this area and it caters for all age grouos and tastes.
Don't miss out on Fenocchio's Ice Cream Parlour on Place Rosetti. Here you have a choice of more than 90 different flavours of home made ice-creams made with their own unique ingredients.
The daily flower market in Cours Saleya is also not to be missed. This area near the Promenade is transformed into beautiful open air restaurants each evening with many specialising in fish and local Nicois dishes.
Shopping In Nice: Nice is a shopping paradise with all the designer stores including a large Galeries Lafayette outlet on Place Massena. The main shopping area ist just five minutes walk from our apartment where there are shops for every budget!
Cultural and Historical: Nice is well known for its Russian Church, its interesting museums and its Roman ruins at Cimiez.
Dining Out: Nice has a vast array of restaurants, with prices to suit every pocket. Along the Promenade des Anglais, Place Massena and the Pedestrianised Zone there are many tourist places to eat. In the old town there is a great choice, with open air restaurants or smaller more intimate dining choices.
Close to our apartment in the area around Rue d'Alsace-Lorraine, there is a wonderful choice of French, Italian, and Asian restaurants. These offer tremendous value for money with 4 course meals and wine for €15-€20. The quality of food is very good and its just a 5 minute stroll home!
Night life in Nice: Nice has much more cafes than bars, but if you wish to find bars, Irish pubs or discos, head for the old town. Nice with its infusion of cultures has plenty of alternative music choices with Jazz, Cuban and African music to be heard. Opera and classical music lovers are also catered for with a varied calendar of events.

This apartment is located in a good area, very close to the main train station. As long as you don't have any mobility issues, you can walk to the Promenades des Anglais, old town, and shopping. The apartment itself will meet your needs during a vacation. The noise from traffic at night took a little getting used to but we still enjoyed the location. We appreciated the print material in the apartment with information and tips about what to do in the area. Overall, this was a great place to stay for our 6 nights.
