Situated close to the Palace de Justice, seconds away from the beach and the famous “Cours Saleya” our holiday apartment is simply surrounded by pavement cafes, fabulous shops and historic buildings.
Part of a former 18th century palace, our Nice holiday apartment has been fully modernised, yet still retains its fabulous character. This modern, 1 bedroomed apartment overlooks the small winding streets and beautiful terracotta roofs for which vieux Nice is very famous.
Welcome to the relaxing pace of French holidays, with modern living comforts in this most vibrant of French cities. With beaches, restaurants, museums and galleries, Nice makes for a perfect city break or holiday and Rue de la Prefecture, the ideal base to discover the whole of the Riviera.

This part of France has 300 days of sun a year and is the ideal place for a riviera holiday. Within easy reach of Antibes, Cannes, Monte Carlo and further afield to Italy or across to Marseille.
The Nice area
The typically French apartment in a former palace sleeps four and is ten minutes by taxi from Nice airport, or 20 minutes by airport bus. The beach, the flower market and over 40 charming restaurants are within three minutes walk. Jump on a local bus or train for visits to Antibes, Cannes, Monte Carlo and places in between. Museums, the opera, outdoor arena are all within a few minutes gentle stroll. The whole place buzzes with excitement there always seems to be something going on whether it be the annual carnival or the annual half marathon.

Fly to Nice by Easyjet, Jet2.com, Flybe or BA. Taxis or regular buses available from outside terminal buildings. Number 98 bus goes to the main bus station (just over 15 minutes) from where it is a short walk to Rue de la Prefecture. For those travelling by car or hiring a car on arraival there is a public underground car park (Follow signs) close to the apartment.

The apartment was situated in the old town. Nearby was the daily fruit and vegetable market, numerous restaurants and shops. The bus station was a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment was lovely, it had all the amenities that one expects and was very clean. I would strongly recommend this apartment and I hope I will return there someday. As with all apartments in the Old Town in Nice I would expect that in the summer months the area would be a lot more lively than in November. |

This is a fantastic holiday apartment in an excellent location. The apartment is a couple of minutes walk from the Cours Saleya, 5 minutes walk from the beach and right in the middle of the old town. There are loads of lovely restaurants and bars right on the doorstep which we were able to sample! As the apartment has cooking facitlities we were also able eat in and visited the local market to buy some fresh fish and vegatables. The building itself is very historic and traditionally French, yet the apartment is modern and clean. For me this was perfect as it satsfied the romance of being in an old French palace but at the same time we had modern facilities. It was also very easy to get to and from the airport. |

We stayed at the apartment in April and it made the ideal base to explore the old town of Nice. Everything was just exactly as advertised on the website, if not better. It was a lovely surprise to find out that there was a lift as I was not expecting one in such an old building. When we are next in Nice, I just hope the apartment will be available. J. Christie
