The year start's off with celebrations on New Years Eve & with Carnival in February and then into Music and festivals of every genre nearly every month, this month (March) Chocolate has a festival, even the humble Garlic has it's own festival. There is also the Iron Man competition, along with the Paris-Nice Bike Ride, there really is something on all the time in Nice, Cote d'Azur and Alpes Maritime.

The 6th floor flat served by two lifts, has been thoughtfully renovated by the owner to provide a wonderful home and holiday home, they have left nothing out and is fully equipped to enjoy a relaxing self-catering holiday. Of course the feature of this stunning flat is the amazing large sunny terrace, you could in fact spend your holiday, on the terrace alone, however we know you have to get out at some point and this area has it all, including on the the premier restaurants just a few steps away, L'Occitanie just try it, very well know with locals and tourists.
It has 1 double bedroom with double bed, large fitted wardrobe with sliding doors and feature large french doors that open onto the fantastic sun terrace, wake up in the morning to the sun streaming in and enjoy breakfast in bed! or out on the terrace and plan your day.
The lounge is bright and sunny with two sets of double doors leading onto the terrace again, perfect for dining or just relaxing, is tastefully furnished and is equipped with a large flat screen TV, DVD, Radio and CD player, there is internet access. The kitchen/dining area is well fitted with a induction hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and a large fridge-freezer in fact it has everything.
Off the lounge is a room with washing machine. The lovely shower room with large shower and has been tastefully created in an Italian style, fully fitted with large shower, sink, bidet, toilet.

The block is located in the Musicians area of Nice with 5 minutes walk to the main train station giving access to all the major towns and villages on the Cote d' Azur.
The area itself is very well served with bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, some of the best bakeries in Nice, two covered markets and 1 large street produce/flower market within 10 minutes walk. A 10 minute level walk away you have the Promenade des Anglais a wonderful place to stroll and take in the views. And of course do not forget the famous Cours Salyea Produce and Flower Market.
Running just behind the Promenade is Rue France which is a hive of activity with many bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and a great pace to wander and take some time out. Rue France leads into Place Massena where from here you can wander over to Old Nice and leave time as this can take all day with it's history, art and culture, shop, designer boutiques, galleries. And an abundance of local cafes and restaurants.
The block and the flat are NON-SMOKING by french law, the flat is in a quite residential block so not suitable for party animals, however it is perfect for couples wanting to enjoy a relaxing self-catering holiday.
We do require a deposit on confirmation of booking: this is a refundable deposit of £200.00 which secures your dates, covers any damage, excessive cleaning, lost keys, if you have to cancel a 20% charge will be made for lost bookings and paper work.
The rental rate is paid in full in cash on arrival in £'sterling, should you wish to pay in €'euros then an exchange rate will apply. Please do not arrive without the full rental rate, as this will result in your not getting entry to the flat.
On confirmation of booking we send you an information pack with local detail and places of interest to visit.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region
Nice is not only a Summer destination, with it's mild climate it is a great place to visit all year round. You can get the Ski bus up to the ski resorts for €1 per person, ski in the morning and relax in the sun in the afternoon in Nice. There are many large towns to visit such as Monaco, Cannes, Antibes and Menton or catch the train and spend the day in Italy.
There are also numerous hill top & coastal towns to visit by bus, train or car. Do not leave Nice without a visit to Saint Paul de Vence famous for the inspiration it has given to Artist's over the years and many works are on display in and around Saint Paul, more reason to visit is that is easily reached by bus direct from Nice for €1 euro per person.
Another must see medieval town is Eze Village (not Eze-sur-Mer) which overlooks the coast between Nice and Monaco. And let us not forget St Jean Cap Ferrat the post code of the Cote d'Azur, again direct bus from Nice, however if you feel like a relaxing day out walking get the bus from Nice to Villefrance-sur-Mer take in this beautiful small coastal village which invites tourists from all over the world, it has a great beach with safe bathing for younger visitors, from here you can take the coastal path through to Beaulieu-sur-Mer and then round to St Jean in time for evening cocktails and watch the sun set. Nice is a City that has a wealth of history and culture for the holiday maker to explore, You could spend weeks here and would not see it all, you have the wonderful Promenade des Anglais which stretches from the Airport right around to the Port of Nice, it has along its route many beaches both public and private with bars, restaurants and cafes.
A great place to stroll, jog, bike (for hire locally, blue bikes & private hire) roller blade or skate board. When you reach the Cours Saleya stop off and take in the wonderful sites and smells of the flowers and local produce. Above the Cours Saleya Market is the Ancient Chateau a great place to get up to by the steps! or take the lift the views are amazing, why not visit in June/July when there are many music festivals and in June there is a free music festival where musicians of every genre play in the streets, parks and squares for free and this weekend is enjoy by local and tourists alike and all ages and a great day and evening is had by all.

"Well located sunny apartment in Nice"
Handily place within easy walking distance of the railway station, the old town and the sea front, this sunny apartment was a real find. We stayed for a week and loved the large south east facing balcony which effectively became an additional living space. The apartment is clean and really well equipped, and hosts Hilary and Billy (located within the same apartment block) were a great source of useful information.

"VALUE FOR MONEY"
We had a fantastic ten days in Nice, made all the more memorable by meeting Hilary and Billy. They are friendly, informative and reliable. The apartment was very clean and tidy, which we both loved as we have turned up at other establishments to be met by a range of unwanted guests! The old town is wonderful and the 'sea front' [Promenade D' Anglais]
is amazing. Nice is a busy City, lots to do and see, many eating places, shops and a very good market. Fruit and veg is quite cheap in comparison to GB. If you go to the beach wear strong footwear [ you can pick up shoes especially for the beach in the Old Town] I say this as one who foolishly tried to walk on the stones in her sandles! An alternative would be to take a tough roll up or hire a deckchair.I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday to friends and family.

This apartment is very comfortable, light and bright and has everything you need to be comfortable. It makes an excellent base if you want to see more of the nearby places as it is close to the station and you can soon be in Monte Carlo or Cannes. The terrace is spacious and allows you to relax between trips out and Hilary and Bill provide a wealth of helpful information on the area and tips for eating out e.t.c.

"A home far away from home...."
this apartment is ideally situated not far from the station, which is also the final stop of the airport express bus (4 Euro) as well as Promenade des Anglais (beaches).
From the first moment of contact with Hilary I felt very comfortable and this continued throughout the entiire stay of 5 nights. The apartment is spotless, has eveything that makes your stay easy and the welcome pack from Hilary and Billy can only top this! The sunny terrace is definately a highlight to enjoy breakfast but also in the evening overlooking Nice at night.
A car is not needed; Antibes can be reached by train, to Cours Saleya with its fish-and flower market (Marché aux Fleurs ) a tram can be taken (1 Euro) from near the sation.
I would like to thank Hilary and Billy for their kind hospitality and useful recommendations. This apartment was the best that I had ever rent. Unforgettable time in Nice and nearby areas!
