About the home

Francois is flooded with light from windows on three sides and is bright and airy during the day. The main south facing French doors complete with a sun drenched Juliette balcony capture breathtaking views from the majestic building of the Opera De Nice, the Cours Saleya and the ancient church of St Francois de Paul.

Inside with its stunning blend of antique and modern furniture, and opulent stylish décor its easy to see why Francois is one of our most popular apartments.

Its location is right in the heart of everything, between the Old Town and the beach. It is a fabulous location. Just one street back from the sea and promenade, the famous Beau Rivage beach is less than a minute walk away, while the Cours Saleya with its daily bustling markets and the old town with Nice's best restaurants are literally on your doorstep. The tram stop is one minute walk away and the bus station and supermarket less than a five minute stroll.

Bedroom
The luxurious bedroom looks over a quiet courtyard through double glazed French windows. The king size bed has bedside glass tables with reading lamps. For a good night's sleep there are French shutters and lined curtains. Designer wallpaper, large French guilt mirror, sliding wardrobes and a chest of drawers.

Living Area
A large cream leather corner sofa dressed with numerous French silk cushions and a throw sits beneath a stunning antique chandelier. In front of the sofa there is a stone top designer coffee table for evening drinks and nibbles. The living area is finished with recessed illuminated shelving, lamps, a large rug, designer mirrors and mood control lighting.

All modern home comforts are provided including a wall hung 40 inch Sony LCD television complete with a HD theatre sound system with HD. A DVD player, CD and radio and connection for your ipod are also provided. Internet Wi-Fi access is also fitted throughout.
Towards the with west facing window there is a black glass round dining table and two chairs for the romantic dinners watching the sunset over the rooftops. A unique art deco sideboard with black marble top and a beautiful little antique drinks cabinet with fold down velvet lined top for serving.
To complete the look, the owners have chosen an art deco sideboard with a black marble top, classic black and white photographs and a contemporary lamp with mood lighting.

Bathroom
The elegant stone tiled bathroom features a walk in rain shower, heated towel rail, and a bowl wash basin with designer taps.

Kitchen
The kitchen is modern, functional and stylish. It has all the mod cons for cooking a gourmet meal if the mood takes you. A halogen hob, combination microwave oven, fridge with small freezer and dishwasher all make cooking a pleasure. An electric kettle, coffee plunger and toaster are also there for that perfect sun drenched breakfast – after the morning swim of course!

“Apartment Francois provides you a pleasant stay in Old Nice near the sea shore.” The apartment is very well matched with the pictures on Nice Pebbles web pages. Location is excellent in the heart of old Nice just few steps away from lively Cours Saleya where you have plenty of restaurants to choose from. Every morning there is also market where you can buy fresh vegetables, fruits, paistries, flowers.. you name it! Very lovely place. You can find everything from the apartment you might need during your stay: cooking appliances, fridge, refrigerator, diswasher, washing machine, TV, DVD-player with movies, air conditioning and staff from Nice pebbles is reachable if you need to ask something. The person wellcoming us was exactly there where we agreed to meet. Everything was very smoothly organized. If there is something negative to say about this apartment it is thin walls. The building is very old and soundproofing is not that effective. The apartment is on the top floor and I think now one else was living there, but there was a renovation process going on in nearby flat and they started every moening around 8:00 AM and we were having a holiday... Not so nice combination. I think it would be good if flat owners would inform Pebbles about these kind of things to let the renting people know. Other small minues is that the apartment is on the fifth floor and there is no lift. It was okay for us, since we are youg people and in good shape. “Great location, good atmosphere, in the heart of old Nice!” From arriving in Nice to the close of our holiday everything was splendid. Kelly, Nice Pebbles agent, met us outside of Nice opera house and took us to the apartment which was directly opposite! The apartment itself was very welcoming, well equiped with everything you may need. Being situated so near to the flower market and its restaurants there is a constant buzz of activity yet not really that noisy! The beach is only a couple of hundred yards away, so near, very convenient as is the tram stop which is about the same distance in the other direction! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment ,will certainly use Nice Pebbles again. Response: Thank you for sharing your holiday experiences with us.
