About the home

Parquet floors and a Balustrade balcony for two are just two of the great features in this lovely Belle Époque rental apartment in Nice. Another is the complimentary use of two mountain bikes.

If you want to go further afield than a bike will allow, the train station is a couple of minutes walk so exploring the French Riviera couldn't be easier.

The apartment is situated on the edge of the Musiciens area and is a few minutes walk from the main train station Gare de Nice Ville. The apartment is perfectly situated to explore the Riviera by rail.
The apartment is a five minute walk from the tramway on Avenue Jean Médecin. A regular bus service stops within 100m of the front door. For as little as one euro, you can easily reach the Promenade, Old Town and beyond.

Bedroom
This good sized double bedroom with original parquet floors has a double wrought iron bed with matching clothing storage unit and ceiling light, a lovely large antique chest of drawers and dressing table. French windows open to a Juliette balcony with views of the magnificent Russian Church.

Living Area
The parquet flooring extends into the living area where double French doors open onto the balcony. There is a high-quality double sofa bed and there are two comfy single chairs. A fold down table seats four. There is a flat-screen television, a DVD player, and a CD music system with a connection for an MP3 player. Wi-Fi can be accessed through public access networks although no guarantee can be provided.

Bathroom
Tiled in white, there is a bath with shower, a sink and a toilet. There is also a top loading washing machine.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fitted with modern units but also retains some original charm with a ceramic sink and larder. It has a two-ring electric hob, combination microwave and grill and fridge-freezer.

“Romantic top floor flat with easy access to the Cote d'Azure” We loved our little apartment for the month we stayed in Nice this summer. It had everything we needed and being a block from the train station meant it was so easy to get to other places in the south of France from there. You'll find it to be completely decked out and comfortable, even in summertime. There is a lift to enable you to get your bags in and out easily. And there's no need to have a car service or rental car as you can easily walk from the train station to the apartment or enjoy a leisurely walk to Old Town or catch the tram or bus to anywhere in Nice. We actually enjoyed the fact that it was a few blocks from the hustle and noise of Old Town; at night we'd retreat to our apartment and relax in the quiet air on our quaint and romantic rooftop balcony.
