Delightful and charming in the heart of Old Nice, this is an ideal apartment for a couple who want a cute retreat to relax whilst listing to the gentle buzz of Old Town activity below. Spend lazy days or nights on the large terrace overlooking sunburnt rooftops, or grab a slice of the action downstairs.
The apartment is situated on one of the main streets of the Old Town, near to the bus station and tram-line. Rue Pairolière is one of the main shopping streets of the Old Town which leads onto the famous fish market on Place St François. Situated underneath the apartment are the typical Old Nice shops and restaurants, including a popular ice cream parlour. There is a launderette just a two-minute walk away. It serves as the perfect base to explore the whole of the Côte d'Azur.
The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

Bedroom
The bedroom houses a double bed from Habitat and fitted mirrored wardrobes. Access to the terrace can be gained through small patio doors. You can access the terrace through the living area as well as the bedroom.
Living Area
The living area has a two seater sofa as well as a chair. There is a LCD TV and DVD player with a French cable package and wi-fi.
The open plan living area has a set of patio doors leading directly onto the fabulous terrace. The terrace has a simple mosaic dining table at one end, and two deck chairs perfect for a sunny day at the other. Being at the back of the apartment, with no through street below, the terrace is relatively quiet in the evening and a gentle buzz of activity and passing shoppers is all that can be heard from the pedestrianised area below.
Bathroom
The well-appointed modern bathroom has a bath with shower over as well as a wash basin vanity unit and WC. The bathroom is located off the open plan living area.
Kitchen
The kitchen is quite small, but you will be able to rustle up simple meals. It is equipped with a two-ring ceramic hob and extractor, a fridge, a microwave, and kettle. There is also a fold-out dining table should you choose to eat inside.

A very well appointed flat; excellent booking, meeeting and servicing arrangements with Nice Pebbles. Excelllent on-site guides and brochures Flats in Nice Old Town tend to be dark and gloomy at lower floor level, but because of the 'tenement' nature of the buildings, lifts are not going to be practicable - and there are 77 steps to this one! So top floors with external facilities are not going to command high rents. And the great bonus of this one is a terrace overloking the roof tops. We were amused by the 'disclaimer' in the on-site brochure about how shocked some visitors are by the condition of old town staircases - indeed they are unpreposessing, though not unclean; but that makes you value what you find on arrival! Response: Thank you for taking the time to review our Terrasse apartment. You're absolutely correct in your assessment of the communal areas of many buildings in France. They are collectively controlled by every apartment owner in the building; this means their care and maintenance is largely out of Pebbles control. This flat was perfect was us. Really convenitent location, great sunny balcony, clean, tidy and modern. The comunal areas are not amazing but this is typical for this area of Europe. As its on the top floor it is not suitable if you don't like climbing lots of steps Response: Thank you for taking the time to let us know what you thought of our Terrasse apartment.
