About the home

This is a really lovely modern high quality sunny 2 bedroom 5th floor apartment. This new development is located in West Nice approx 3 km's from downtown Nice - only 50 meters from Promenade des Anglais and beach. The apartment has very nice quality furnishings and fittings. On entry you have a hallway and to your left you enter into the large open-planned living room - which has a very comfortable quality leather sofa/bed, flat screen TV with english Sat TV (BBC, ITV and sky news etc) DVD and large beautiful dining table (for 6 persons). Phone for incoming calls and ADSL/wifi internet access. Off the living room is an american kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster dishwasher and washing machine. From the living room there is a very pleasant balcony with sea views and views of local neighbourhood with table and 4 chairs (perfect for evening dining). At the rear of the apartment are both the bedrooms (very quiet). The master bedroom has a very good quality double bed, 2 bedside cupboards and a large fitted wardrobe. The 2nd bedroom has 2 quality single beds, 2 bedside cabinets and fitted wardrobe. There is a large bathroom with bath and washbasin, a shower room with basin and a separate toilet with basin. This apartment has double glazing throughout - mainly automatic shutters and full reversible air cooling system. Secure underground parking with direct access is also included in the price. This is an ideal quality apartment perfect for a family - in a very nice suburb of Nice (the area has restaurants, supermarkets and bakers all within 50 meters) - giving the benefit of a true French living - whilst being very easy to jump on a bus and be in central Nice in 5mins.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

Located in Southern Europe at the south eastern corner of France, Nice nestles between the Alps, Provence, Corsica and Italy. This privileged city stands on an exceptional natural site at the heart of the French Riviera. It stretches over a coastal plain southward onto the Mediterranean, and it is bordered from East to West by a succession of wooded hills. In the background are the Alpine foothills, some of which reach over 9000 ft above sea level. These are only 31 miles away from the coast as the crow flies.

To the west, Cannes is just 25 minutes away on the train, and just an hour from St Tropez. To the East, Monte Carlo is a 25 minute train journey away. It is only around 65 minutes to the Val D'Isere ski resort on the Italian border.

The Nice area

The apartment is ideally located for immediate access to restaurants, bars, restaurants, bakery and supermarket.

Within a one minute walk of the apartment you reach the Promenade des Anglais which is lined with cafes, museums and hotels, both modern and Belle Epoque. The Promenade is a long wide road which begins at the eastern end of Nice by the Jardin Albert I and runs the length of the seafront westward for about 6km towards the apartment and the airport. Watersports are accessible along the beach.

The city of Nice is the capital of the Riveria and the fifth largest city in France. The old town of Nice is full of winding cobblestone streets and has a great selection of restaurants and cafes. Nice offers all the cultrual attractions that a city can offer and boasts the greatest number of museums and galleries outside of Paris.

Nice is a great base for daytrips all along the Mediterranean coast and there is a great train service. The main train station is about a 15 minute bus or car ride from the apartment. There is a bus stop outside the apartment, but if you wish to rent a car there are a number of companies based at the airport.

Cannes is located 30 minutes away, Monaco 30 minutes and Ventimilia (Italy) 60 minutes away (there is a great market here every Friday and it is well worth a visit - take the train).

The nearest ski resorts is located 45km away at Greolieres (1400m - 1800m). Other ski areas within a two hour drive are Le Foux D'Allos, Auron and Limone Piemonte

An excellent apartment equipped with everything that you will need for your stay.Spotlessly clean, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to others.

Very impressed with the apartment, exactly as described. Paul’s directions for collecting the keys at the airport were very clear. Caught bus no 23 from terminal 1 at the airport, which cost 1 euro per person (much cheaper than the exorbitant taxi fares) and got off at “Carras” stop just a few yards away from the apartments.
The apartment had everything needed - even toilet rolls! and the towels were soft fluffy ones.
Impressed by Paul’s quick response to any query we had, and the ease of booking. This was our first time with Go-Nice and would recommend them to anyone reading this.

This is a very nice apartment in a great location. It is located within one block of the Promenade des Anglais, a couple of blocks from a supermarket and a short driving distance (5 minutes) from the old downtown core. It is also a perfect starting point for day trips in Cannes, Provence, Monaco and northern Italy (e.g. San Remo). The apartment itself is very modern and clean, with all the necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, TV and internet. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone. In fact, I may well go back to this apartment myself when I go back to Nice.

Keys waited for us in a centre of Nice, despite our delay Apartment was very clear and have everything what we want in every room, kitchen and bathrooms (there was a TV,XBox with games,HiFi with CDs, books, maps, guides, washmachine, cooler, washmachine, cooker, microwave, iron, dryer etc.). Apartment is a very close to promenade and beach (2 min by walk) and is a very close to some shops (small carrefour with local cheese, wines, fruits). 5 stops by BUS (ticket 1 EUR/person) to train station (airport dirction) and about 11 stops to mail train station in NICE and to old town. By train it was about 15-20 mninuts to Monaco, to Cannes, to Antibes.
It was a very good time for us, we want to back to Nice in the future (I dont know when) and I think only about go-nice.com and Paul Manion :o)

On booking full key collection details and directions are sent - Payment is by credit card - Go-Nice has an office in central Nice at 11 rue du Congres which also gives you reassurance that there is someone available in emergencies or any everyday questions.
