The wife and I stayed here in April 2013 and found the apartment perfect in every way. It was very well equipped with every type of glass, cup, plate, cutlery, and nick knacks you could ever want, also the quality and comfort of the furnishings was second to none while still in keeping with the wonderfully French chic style. Any Kim and Aggie fans out there would also appreciate the cleanliness of the whole apartment. It was immaculate, from the hallway, to the bathroom, bedroom, lounge and even the balcony. We found out later that Bill and Hilary clean all their apartments personally after every use and this really shows through. The apartment itself is located in a midsized residential block with the concierge of the building being our nearest neighbour and I have to say that as well as all the residents being as quiet as mice they always greeted us with a smile and a bonjour, bonsoir or a bon nuit when we bumped into them in the hallway. In the immediate area there are supermarkets, cafe's, pharmacies, bars, restaurants etc, but best of all is a wonderful patisserie just at the end of the street that opened early enough for fresh croissants and batons for breakfast and stayed open late for naughty tea time treats. Slightly further away are the main shops, bars etc and seafront, these are easily within walking distance in fact we took a slightly different route every day there and back and always discovered something new and interesting. If your new to Nice and the area there is boatloads to see and there is lots of info on the area in the apartment itself, no need to visit the TI and if you can't be bothered to read all the leaflets just ask Bill and Hilary they have lived here for many years and are a mine of info, happy to help and love sharing their experiences. All in all a great holiday and accommodation. Will definitely be returning. |

We have just enjoyed a week in this lovely apartment. It was so comfortable, quiet and equipped with everything you would ever need. It was good to come 'home' to such a restful spot after a day out - no traffic noise and lots of handy shops. The bakery and the deli saw quite a lot of us. We used the train to go farther afield and it was easy to walk up to the station. Our hosts really put themselves out to make us feel welcome and help us with any little query. And they were there to meet us at the bus stop when we arrived! |

Spent 3 weeks in this wonderful apt and still not enough. Have recommended to friends as a perfect place to stay on the French Riviera. The old country style of this apt was impeccable and the finishing incredible. |
