"A perfect stay in a very romantic city! Gorgeous!"

We stayed one week in this perfectly situated and equipped apartment in the very heart of Old Nice (Vieille Ville Nice). The apartment is newly renovated and done with particular attention to details, all spotlessly clean, just lovely! It is very spacious and light. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are everything you need for your perfect stay. You have a ventilator in the living room and in the bedroom! It is only 10 minutes walk to the beach through lovely romantic small streets. You are straight in the middle of life with plenty of cafes and restaurants, and of course it's famous for centuries fish market. I have already recommended this accommodation to my best friend. So, definitely will return back to continue visiting small towns next to Nice. Absolutely loved it! Thank you so very much Athena for all your support and tips for our holiday!

"Excellent well maintained flat with everything you need"

We stayed in the apartment for a week which is in a great location right in the middle of the old town with absolutely everything you may need to hand. Only 20 mins from the airport on the 98 bus and getting around Nice is also really cheap - either by bus or train. You can even get to Monte Carlo for little more then 6 euros on the train - excellent for a cheap day out. The flat is very clean and very comfortable with good quality bed linen and towels provided. The kitchen is well stocked and also has some basics included (salt tea coffee, oil, vinegar, pasta, rice etc) Great selection of DVDs and CDs if you fancy a night in and even a portable aircon unit to keep you cool at night. The apartment is small but perfectly adequate for two people and well thought out. Mary met us outside the apartment and is full of useful info and a really lovely lady. All in all a perfect holiday!! We will definately return.

"Comfy apartment, convenient location and a friendly welcome."

This delightful apartment had everything we needed for a lovely holiday in Nice. It was quiet with a very comfortable bed and we slept really well. The bathroom was roomy and the shower hot. The well equipped kitchen had all we needed and the shops were really close to buy supplies. The location was excellent with just a short walk for the tram or bus. We are hoping to return to Nice for another holiday and we hope to stay here again.

"Very nice, great location!"

This is a wonderful little flat in a perfect location. We stayed here for the month of February, while my wife attended Alliance Française language school, a 15min walk away. Nice Carnival was a bonus; it's an impressive family-friendly production. Very much as advertised, the flat itself is well maintained and well equipped. The queen bed is excellent. The WiFi works great, as does the shower. The stairs up to the flat are easy to negotiate -- not steep or shallow. The kitchen is tiny, but it works. We cooked most all our own meals. Good security. The owner, Athena, and local contact, Mary, are both very helpful and accommodating. It would be hard to beat the location. We loved being in the old town with it's narrow streets and small shops. There are lots of grocery options within a few steps. Good quiet location just off Place St Francois. Easy access to buses and tram. We can recommend pre-booking airport transfers with Med-Tour, if you do not want to take the bus.

"Great Location"

Small compact apartment, well equipped, with a great location right in the old town. No worries about restaurants or even buy in food supplies if you want them. Walking distance to everywhere, we loved it. Laundry very close. I guess if I had a suggestion it would be for a little more lighting in the bedroom... Mary, their contact, is very helpful and we had no problems at all contacting her upon our arrival. No problems with bond refunds. Great stay, have fun. Louise

"Ideal location with great value for money"

I had never been to Nice before, and didn't know what to expect, but I really can't imagine somewhere better placed for my first experience of this wonderful city. It's located on the edge of the old town which is full of wonderful narrow streets filled with shops, however the apartment was really close to the bus stop which meant that we had no trouble finding it, and didn't have far to go carrying our bags. The square outside had a fish market each day, it's above a wine shop and next to a boulangerie so it is a vibrant location full of hustle and bustle. We were met by Mary who gave us all the info we needed and more, and the cupboards were stocked with some basics - and as we had mentioned it was our honeymoon there was also a bottle of wine chilling, bouquet of flowers and single rose on our pillow!! The apartment was very clean, nice furnishings, well stocked with kitchen equipment, and nice shower room. The bedroom is quite small but somehow manages to contain a nice large comfy bed and plenty of storage space - it really felt like someone allowing you to share their home! There was a really helpful guide listing lots of locations to visit including really helpful info like bus numbers and journey durations. However the welcome presence of reliable wifi allowed us to do our own research and planning too! The bus stops are all within a few minutes walking distance as are three supermarkets, a multitude of shops and too many restaurants to count! The beach is 5-8 minutes walk - through the wonderful streets and Cours Saleya market. This apartment was perfectly located and allowed us to really get a real feel for living in Nice, we hope to return next year and will have no problem contacting Athena again to make use of this little gem!

"Well located and in old town"

We enjoyed the location as it is in St Francois square but the apartment is a tad small and the cooker gives out minimal heat which makes self catering difficult! We were also slightly perturbed by the dossers seeking refuge from the red cross office opposite our apartment. However, it is well located for the old town and is quiet and the greeter mary was lovely. We enjoyed our time in Nice but it comes with a wealth warning, you'll need lots of euros!!

Thanks for letting us know about the stove. we will get that checked out immediately. The Red Cross offers free medical treatment to those who cant afford it, but rarely are they so busy that it creates a problem. Glad you enjoyed your holiday

I have stayed in the apartment for 44days. Before renting, the owner always answer my questions, fast reply.and also during my stay, she have helped me for the mailboxes, heater etc. Thanks to the owner I really enjoyed staying in Nice. Apartment is beautiful, full equiped. It is located in the centre,I always go to bakery near the apartment and I was close to the beach,my job, supermarket. When my friend visited the apartment, they loved it too. It's really pretty especially I like the kitchen counter.

"Homely and welcoming in a perfect location"

I arranged the trip for my boyfriend's 30th for the Monaco Grand Prix weekend as it was cheaper than staying in Monaco itself and really quick to travel to Monaco from Nice via train. I initially booked our stay for a long weekend and a few months later extended it to a full week - luckily it was free and Athena was very accommodating. The location is perfect, right in the middle of it all and we were worried about the noise at night but it was suprisingly quiet. We could walk to most places; beach, chateau, even the train station although the Metro is so convenient and inexpensive. The apartment itself was a little smaller than what I had envisaged from the photos but this is merely a statement rather than a criticism. It is very cosy, clean and welcoming. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and the shower is fantastic! It was great to have free wi-fi and the faciliaites to play music from our ipod. The living space was quaint and had everything we needed, we cooked in the apartment some evenings and the facilities were good - we just had to remember that there was no oven but the hobs and microwave were sufficient for our week stay. My only criticism would be that the security deposit amount seemed quite steep and the extra for linen & cleaning had to be paid in cash seperately which was a little inconvenient. However, saying that we received the full deposit back and the apartment I feel was fairly priced. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay as a couple, especially not hvaing been to Nice before and Mary was very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely reccommend this apartment for a long weekend or week holiday.

"Excellent pied-a-terre in the heart of the Vieux Ville of Nice"

This flat is compact but comfortable and extremely convenient for the lively streets and markets of the old town of Nice, as well as being very well placed for the excellent public transport system. This was our second stay, but we still found new things to do and the highlight this time was a visit to the Villa Ephrussi Rothschild in St Jean Cap Ferrat, which is stunningly situated within beautiful gardens and only half an hour by bus from St Francois.
