"A perfect romantic getaway for two."
Driving to Nice we were guided in clearly by the directions given by the host. Parking was available at a reasonable cost at an underground car-park opposite the accommodation and ensured we didn't have to worry about the car for the duration of our stay (be sure to explain to the attendant that you want the week long ticket). An easy exchange for the key and we were in to our fantastic apartment for the week.
The accommodation was very well equipped, clean and comfortable and the stunning bonus was the view of the sea from the balcony. So much so, we opted to eat in the apartment a couple of nights and wile the night away with a bottle of wine on the balcony. From the apartment we walked to the beach in under 2 minutes and picked up lunch from a bakers along the way (a MUST if you stay here!) and we were delighted to find the beach was far less crowded than the more 'touristy' end of the beach - we were among the locals.
From the apartment we were able to explore all that Nice has to offer. Being in the more residential end of town it was a short walk along the beautiful promenade to the old town area. On several occasions we stopped in the cafés, restaurants and cocktail bars along the beach front and dined at the open air restaurants in the Market square of the old town. For a vantage point to see Nice in all its glory then a walk up Castle Hill is a must, the views are incredible.
All in all, this apartment is in a prime location, was a fantastic price and the host was easy to communicate with. A perfect stay. We would recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy Nice.
