About the home

Outdoor living in a quiet, residential quarter of central Nice is what this 5th floor corner apartment is all about. (Yes, there is a lift!) The 80 square meter, two-bedroom apartment itself is truly stunning, recently refurbished to a very high standard, but what makes the property unique is the huge wraparound terrace that effectively doubles the living space. All the rooms have large sliding doors leading to the terrace and all are air conditioned. Meals can be taken outdoors on the table and chairs provided. There is also outdoor lounging furniture on which to take the sun and when things get too hot, there are full-length retractable sun blinds to provide shade. The apartment is located in the 'Musiciens’ district, about five minutes walk from the Promenade des Anglais, beaches and the pedestrian zone as well as from the new tram line that goes to the bus station and old town (3 stops). It is also convenient to the railway station for trips along the Riviera and there are lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and patisseries (for your morning croissant on the terrace) nearby. This apartment has a truly relaxed and comfortable feel. The large living room has a big screen TV (English satellite TV including BBC, ITV, CNN and Sky news) a mini home theatre system, a sofa-bed and two armchairs. High speed Internet is provided via Wifi and Ethernet port. There is a telephone for incoming calls, which can also be used for outgoing calls with a phone card. There is a fully equipped 'American' kitchen, with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The master bedroom has a high quality king size bed and fully fitted cupboards. The second bedroom has two high quality single beds that can be pushed together, as well as its own fitted cupboards. The main bathroom is stunning. It has a deluxe corner Jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubicle, with quality marble tiling throughout. There is also a further separate shower room next to the second bedroom. This is an exceptionally comfy apartment, but what makes its unique is the surround terrace. This is south and west facing, so there is sun throughout day and evening, with views of the city and hills. This apartment is perfect for a family or two couples sharing -- great location and stunning terrace.

The apartment is lovely, well equipped and maintained. The terrace is fabulous for eating, drinking, relaxing and sunbathing. The station is 5 minites away and the sea front is 10 minutes. The old town can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. We had a great holiday and would love to return...thanks Paul

The entire process from booking, key collection, and the details provided on arrival regarding transportation, local shops and restaurants was perfect. Spending time in this beautiful quiet apartment gave us the opportunity to enjoy Nice in a relaxed non-touristy way. We LOVED the covered balcony, and were extremely grateful for the air conditioning after hot August days of sight seeing. Everyone we met in the neighborhood was delightful, helpful, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It was difficult to leave!

The large open-plan living room/dining room/American kitchen is a great heart to the apartment and a wonderful space for socialising whilst cooking and relaxing. The views are fabulous and it’s easy to pop out on to the large wraparound terrace and enjoy the sunshine any time of the day. The Welcome Pack was full of useful suggestions and helped make our stay in Nice so very enjoyable.
