Built in Circa 1890's the Montgomery House is the ideal vacation home if you are seeking the charm and warmth of yesteryear but with all of today's modern amenities, including full wheelchair accessibility.
Situated in beautiful grounds surrounded by mature trees this two storey home with a wide wrap around porch is the quintessential perfect home away from home. Sit and relax on the white wicker porch furniture or retire to the private rear garden which is very large and perfect for late evening outside dining. This child friendly garden with activity centre has ample space for just relaxing or maybe a game of Croquet or Bocce Ball.

Further details indoors: As you walk up the wide entrance steps and onto the front porch you will immediately sense the warmth and charm of this home. Picking which one of the wicker chairs will be your choice of seating may be the hardest part of this holiday.
As you enter into the front hall you will immediately see the care and attention the craftsmen of a bygone era made, who toiled to build this home, from the oak staircase to the aged honey coloured original wooden floors you just feel a wonderful calming.
A large bright sunny Living room - lounge beautifully decorated in high end furnishings is the ideal place for a quiet chat with friends or simply curl up with a good book and watch the world go by. Or you may want to move into the media centre of the living room to watch digital TV (hidden in the antique armoire) or listen to your favourite CD or maybe watch a DVD.
The centre of the Home is the large bright and fully equipped kitchen with fridge, gas stove, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. A massive centre island is prefect for the gourmet cook or simply sitting at the bar while making a cup of freshly brewed coffee. The breakfast area has a beautiful farmer's style dining table and chairs and is perfect for any meal from a country breakfast to a formal dinner.
The Montgomery House offers 4 bedrooms (1 on the main floor and 3 on the upper floor) 2 with full en suites. Every bedroom has the original aged honey coloured wooden plank flooring. A second bathroom is also directly at the top of the staircase; this bathroom has been completely renovated and restored to its original style with antique claw foot bath and full wraparound shower rail.
