You will love Casablanca cottage. Located 1/2 block from shopping and restaurants, close enough that you can be at the theatre in less than 5 minutes yet off of the main street and quiet. We have decorated the house with a Moroccan theme because we love the culture and the people of Morocco. Colours is our other great love you will see that when you view the photos.

The Ontario region

Niagara Falls is just a 15 minute drive away. The drive takes you
through the wine region and past several of the area's 50+ wineries
all of which will welcome you in for a tasting.

The Shaw festival is at the heart of any Niagara on the Lake visit
with plays by George Bernard Shaw and contemporaries. Go to the Shaw
web site to view a list of plays and buy tickets. Buy your tickets
early however as they sell out quickly.

Niagara-on-the-Lake area

The war of 1812 between the British and the USA was fought right on
this ground. The town was burnt by retreating Americans in December
1813 (We have forgiven them!) Walk or bike the flat streets and
enjoy our history.

The ground floor is all about visiting and relaxation. It has a large living area with gas fireplace and a TV/library area. The Library is well equipped with books if you are looking for quite entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering with fridge, stove, microwave as well as a dishwasher and all the utensils you would expect.
The second floor has three bedrooms, 2 with Queen sized beds one with 2 single beds. The second floor also has a 5 piece bath. A power room is located on the main floor and a three piece bath with shower downstairs.

The house has natural gas heat and central AC for year round comfort.

Further details outdoors:
You will be staying in one of the old Niagara on the lake homes. We have tastefully renovated it to retain the charm of yesterday while introducing modern conveniences. The home is surrounded by historic homes that date to just after the war of 1812. You can easily walk to the theaters and restaurants; in fast you can see some of them from the front porch. The front veranda is everyone’s favourite sport. It has lots of room for you to relax and catch up on old times with friends, while you greet the visitors touring the town by horse drawn carriage.

After visiting the many wineries in the area it is fun to sample the wine you have purchased and practice your BBQ skills on the gas grill. The house has everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The supermarket is about ½ block away an they have a great selection of steaks and other meats that are great cooked outdoors.

Dear Don,
It's impossible that a week has already gone by since we stayed at Casablanca cottage... it felt so right, so much "home" to my family & friends on the occasion of my son's wedding! I never wanted to leave , to tell you the truth. We enjoyed the front porch in the mornings, the back garden for a wonderful dinner on Saturday night and all of the house throughout. Many friends & family stayed at the Queen's Landing, a fine place I'm sure... but they were all a little envious when they saw "home base", how beautiful yet relaxing it was!
My sister and her husband, who are fastidious cottage owners themselves, were totally enthralled by the region and the house which operated magic on every occupant over the course of the three days we were there and helped with the making of wonderful memories.
So thank you again for Casablanca Cottage ... and surely all the hard work that you must have put into it!

Just a note to let you know how much my family enjoyed our stay at Casablanca cottage. The photos on the internet do not do the cottage justice. We truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. You certainly made the entire rental process painless. Niagara on the Lake is beautiful and the proximity to area attractions is wonderful. Personally, I fell in love with the area and expect to return many time in the future.
