Amberlea House is an English Tudor style home with a private heated pool, located in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The house sits on a beautifully landscaped lot nestled among Pines, Olive trees and ivy.
The Amberlea House has just recently been completely renovated and features a newly built, heated inground kidney shaped pool. It is surrounded by Silver Birch and big Oak trees, a large interlocking brick patio with a dining table, lounging area, and a Gas BBQ that is connected to the house.
The Amberlea House offers 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, wireless internet access, a jacuzzi tub, 2 fireplaces, laundry, dishwasher and central Air Conditioning.
The spacious Living Room has built in bookcases, vaulted ceilings with wood beams, fireplace, 32" flat screen TV with DVD, a Stereo with a 5 CD changer and plenty of comfortable seating including a huge sectional sofa that can seat many people.
It overlooks the Dining Room which features a large Oak table with leather chairs and a picture window that looks out over the treed backyard, patio and pool.
Amberlea House is located in old town Niagara-on-the-Lake, very close to the shops and fine restaurants and right around the corner from our other 2 homes listed on this site, Simcoe Pines and Aylesbury Manor.

The Ontario region
Set by the Niagara River and Lake Ontario, historic Niagara-on-the-Lake captures attention with its Georgian and Victorian-styled buildings, waterfront park and surrounding fields of grapevines. The town was once the capital of Ontario, and home to a strong military presence and a busy port. Fort George National Historic Site was the military stand post of the British, and has been completely reconstructed, with costumed actors performing throughout the site. The Laura Secord Homestead is the celebrated home of the War of 1812 heroine, and visitors can look through the two storey refurbished cottage.
Niagara-on-the-Lake area
Besides window shopping and dining in Olde Town, thousands come to Niagara-on-the-Lake for the well-known Shaw Festival Theatre, one of Canadas premier theatre festivals that generally run from April until December. World class wineries are also very abundant in the area, and most offer tours and tastings. There are more than 125 wineries in the area with many offering dining in the vineyard. For those who favour the fresh air, a sopping wet tour of the area on a jet boat tour may be on the agenda (dry options are also available) or a bike tour along the scenic trails.
