Marina Reach is a spacious Penthouse with a decked sunny roof terrace standing on its own occupying the entire upper floor space of this Georgian Building of just 5 apartments situated near the exciting water sports centre and popular waterfront with a picnic area, nature reserve, slipway and quay. This large modern refurbished family friendly accommodation offers a great sunny, light and airy space and maximizes the sea and boating views from nearly every room through the huge 5ft double glazed windows in the heart of the extremely popular tourist county of Pembrokeshire.
Relax in the hand made leather chairs in the sitting room whilst watching the water skiers or enjoy a meal in the separate dining room whilst watching the boats return to the marina with the day's catch. Enjoy family walks in the nature reserve or along the promenade or marina looking at all the lovely boats, see the children rock pooling and crab lining off the quay wall or slipway. Wherever or whatever you wish to explore or visit in Pembrokeshire, you'll never be too far away due to Marina Reach's ideal location. Saundersfoot, Tenby , Barafundle, Broad Haven, Freshwater East and West are just 20 minutes or so and Newgale, Solva and St David's just 30 minutes or so from this holiday let apartment.
The photograhs of the sea views seen and advertised from the sitting room and dinning room on the advert have been taken by me from the window using my iphone and are 'as near as possible to the naked eye' . But please lets be reasonable, if you look down and around from the same windows you will see the road and ground the property sits on and other surrounding properties. The Penthouse is not on a small island surrounded by just water!

The Pembrokeshire region
With some of the highest sunshine records in Britain held in West Wales, what better way to spend the day than on some of Pembrokeshires award winning beaches. Pembrokeshire has more blue flag beaches than any other county in Britain and with over 180 miles of coastline ( Britains only coastal national park ) there are sandy beaches, walks and sights to suit everyone at all times of the year. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy from many tourist attractions like Oakwood Leisure Park, Folly Farm and Heatherton to name but a few to numerous boat trips where you can see whales, sharks, dolphins, seals and puffins around the small islands dotted around the coast. Historic castles to the Preseli mountains and national park, Pembrokeshire is a wonderful county.
With its close proximity to the waterfront, promenade, seashore, lovely Marina, cafe and restaurant as well as having its own separate private entrance, sun terrace and plenty of parking, it lends itself well as an ideal holiday retreat for all ages.
There is an excellent co-op supermarket just 2 minutes walk away which does everything from papers, fresh bread, food, drink to DVD hire, it also has a post office and cash machine inside, what more could you want! unless you fancy a evening meal/drink overlooking all the yachts and boats or a cream tea/snack whilst watching them depart and return, then the marina restaurant, cafe and shop is only about 5 minutes walk away......... Superb!
Situated on the beautiful calm waterway with its impressive marina, waterfront and major sailing and water sports centre. It also has a fine promenade and picnic area with superb views over the water. Lovely areas for walking with the family, fishing or crab lining off the quay wall or slip ways. There is also a non charge public nature reserve near the marina where you could see Kingfisher's, Otters, sea birds, lilies on the ponds and birds of prey. Boat trips to the small islands as well as for fishing, diving and other water sports leave from Neyland and with a good selection of shops, bars and takeaway restaurants and central location in Pembrokeshire, make Neyland an ideal holiday destination for all ages and interests and quite honestly in any weather or season.

"Great price for a great apartment"
Very comfortable and affordable even with just two of us using the place which can sleep 6.
Nice views out over water, place exactly as described and the owners are very helpful, good location in easy reach of loads of loads of stuff to do.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this lovely review. Its great to hear you liked and enjoyed Marina Reach so much especially those fantastic sea views. Thank you once again for booking with us.

"Excellent value accomodation in a quiet location but close to main places of interest."
We have just spent Whitsun week in this accomodation and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very well equipped with good size rooms, the property was spotlessly clean on our arrival and the furnishings are excellent and very comfortable. The sea views are lovely and the marina is just a short stroll away. The property also benefits from its closeness to the main places of interest in the area as well as many beautiful sandy beaches. I would definitely recommend this property and will also happily stay there again.
Its lovely to hear you all enjoyed and liked Marina Reach and made the most of the fantastic Pembrokeshire coast. Thank you so much for kind words on the property and I will pass on your nice comments to the cleaning contractors. You will be welcome back anytime and we hope to see you again very soon.

"great location, clean and tidy"
I booked this apartment with my husband my sister and her husband and my mum, the apartment was very clean and tidy and nicely furnished, great location for sight seeing, the only downside was the stairs to the apartment, my mum being 85 struggled to get up and down them as they were a little on the steep side.
I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with the review from these guests who stayed 8 nights and this is the thanks you get especially as I gave a great deal and allowed an extra adult to stay without any further charge over the Easter period. We get 'great' rated 5 star reviews from the guests without mobility issues hence no 'down sides' from them , but yet again guests with members in the party who have mobility problems (without my knowledge) book Marina Reach knowing and 'signing' as so, unfairly bring our overall rating down.
Please, please, please once again:- If you or 'any' member of your party find it difficult to get up and down the equivalent gradient to normal house stairs, please check with me prior to booking or better still look else where as this is ridiculously unfair.

Excellent value for money. The flat is spacious, clean, warm and well equipped. The description was accurate and we found Mark to be efficient and very helpful. being close to the Cleddau Bridge allows good access to South Pembrokeshire.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this the lovely. We hope you'll all stay again very soon.

"Exactly as described and easy to settle in."
Felt a bit greedy really as we could have brought a couple of friends there was enough room for 4. Nice and comfortable just as Mark has described in the details. Haven't met him but very helpful and friendly on the phone. The caretaker turned up within half hour of our arrival to make sure everything was ok which was a nice touch.
We chose Neyland because it seemed easy to get to see the Pembrokeshire coast from, and it was! Everything is nearer than we realised. Go to Tenby, Lower Fishguard, Broad Haven, Little Haven, Solva, Newgale... All so beatiful and all so easy to reach from Marina Reach. Nice walk around the Marina 2 minutes away too. And lovely to just sit and watch the estuary from the lounge and dining room windows, we had a job getting out in the mornings because we were just sitting staring! Can't recommend dining places because we ate in most evenings.
Thanks for a comfortable stay.
We are pleased to hear you had a nice time and enjoyed Marina Reach and the surrounding area. Thank you for taking the time to complete this nice review and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

"Good enough flat but the photos don't tell the real story"
The apartment itself is fine however there are a few things to look out for. The pictures on the website have been taken with a very large telephoto lens and in no way represent what you see from the windows with the naked eye. The town of Neyland is rather run down with a lot of empty shops on the high street, not what I would call a holiday destination in its own right. The bathroom is very dated and tired and the kitchen had a few problems such as faulty grill, hob and toaster. The wider area however is perfect for a family holiday,
I would not hesitate to go to Pembrokeshire again but not to Neyland or to that particular flat. It would have been helpful to have known that the main route to and from the flat includes a toll bridge which charges both ways 24 hours a day.
These particular guests stayed for 2 weeks in August and would have you believe that they went without the use of a grill, hob and toaster without bringing it to our attention throughout their entire holiday! If anything was to fail to work or malfunction, I would act straight away to rectify the situation to the guest's complete satisfaction. After 5 years of letting Marina Reach with trip advisor offering reviews for the last 12 months, we have only ever heard how lovely the views are from the property. The negative comments are not only insulting but completely untrue. We actually took all of the photographs used in the advert using just an iphone 3 which hardly has the large telephoto lens this poor review accuses us of. As for the silly comment on the white bathroom suite being outdated and tired, it was only put in new in 2006 and can clearly be seen in the photo as quite the opposite. Neyland is a small maritime town which has suffered and continues to suffer the hard economic times like everywhere else including very popular holiday resorts but with the lovely marina, water sports centre and numerous cafés continues to be a lovely central location in which to explore Pembrokeshire. We value guests comments and in this type of business do expect the odd negative review as you can not please everyone all of the time but please lets make them truthful and not exaggerated and please consider this is peoples livelihoods.

"Great family accomodation"
This is a great base for a Pembrokeshire holiday. The appartment is very comfortable and spacious and in a quiet location within easy reach of all the main tourist attractions. It has the best sofa our teenager has ever lounged on with lovely views of the Marina over the roof tops and the beds were extremely comfortable!Neyland itself is quiet but has a great Co-op around the corner which provided everything for our stay so no need to drive to the supermarket.A comfortable place to relax even on a rainy day and we had great fun rediscovering Monopoly! The outside stairs were fine with us but we were careful in the wet weather.A good find!
Very pleased you all had such a nice time at Marina Reach even though the weather was so awful. Thank you for the lovely review.

"Lovely Apartment in a great location"
Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic holiday in this lovely apartment. It was clean and modern and far exceeding our expecations. The booking process was simple and the owner was very efficient and helpful. The location was ideal for us as we wanted to explore the pembrokeshire area, and it was central to the Pembrokeshire national park, Tenby and Saundersfoot. We had a great time and will most certainly be returning again to see more of this beautiful area.
We are always pleased to hear that our guests had a lovely time at Marina Reach and enjoyed beautiful Pembrokeshire. Thank you for the kind words and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

"Lovely apartment and area - shame about the stairs!!!"
Having stayed in several holiday accommodation this was a a very spacious, clean and comfortable apartment. The only minus (which I know has been mentioned before) is the outside staircase which made moving suitcases etc quite difficult. The area is lovely - very much like the Cornish coastline and the Marina/Nature Reserve (just down the road) is well worth a leisurely stroll.
We're not sure 'what else' we can do to inform guests that Marina Reach is a 2nd floor Penthouse requiring access via 2 flights of steps (the similar amount and gradient as 2 typical house stairs with a landing area between). This information is in the website description, booking form and information we send prior to paying. During the booking process we highlight and encourage all guests to contact us if they have any medical condition or reason which will make gaining access to Marina Reach difficult for any member of their party. If you want lovely sea views and everyone attending with you can get up and down your house stairs without difficulty then you won't have any issues. You can even arrange to have your suitcases taken in by the caretaker. With all of this in mind, if there is going to be any further difficulty, 'please do not book' as it is a little unfair to complain after.
